“I loved this place! We were only in town one day. This was very good if you’re hungry with others who want something different! I had the chicken and been teriyaki bowl, so good! I only gave it four stars for a couple of reasons let’s just say something’s really irk me. For example rude people. Our server was nice but others not so friendly.“

WOW Café Chicken Wings •
CUB - Campus Union Building, 1500 S Avenue K Station 51, Portales

“WOW Café is located inside of the Campus Union Building as part of the Starbucks We Proudly Serve shop. If you're entering the CUB from the parking lot, it's directly to your left behind all the tables and chairs. While there aren't too many options, WOW does serve up substantial food, especially if you're on the go or want to skip out on eating dining hall food. The prices are fairly decent, and they do offer good combos. They serve a variety of wraps, wings, and salads, but I feel like their wraps are the most popular. I believe this café is part of their larger Wow Café chain located in Texas, so the items at ENMU are more limited. My friend and I ordered the Buffalo and Sonoma Wrap. We both decided to forego the fries and get a drink instead, but I guess the person ringing us up thought that the combination was a much better deal, so ended up charging us for combo meals instead. So the Buffalo has a fried chicken inside of the wrap and the Sonoma has the grilled chicken, but when both orders were ready - they both had piece of fried meat inside of the wrap. We couldn't really tell which was which, so we just chose a box and went with it. I think I did end up eating the Buffalo wrap, which wasn't what I preferred - but it was tasty and definitely combatted my hunger. Bleu cheese dressing, buffalo sauce, and the variety of cheeses inside of that wrap was fulfilling, probably because the fried chicken made it taste so darn good. Fries were tasty as well - thin shoestring fries with a decent amount of flavoring tossed on top. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the fries were a good accompaniment to the wrap. Overall, I'd say this meal was worth the $6-7. I was only able to eat half a wrap, so I got two meals out of this! tl;dr - Credit cards are accepted. Meals can take a little long to cook. Sometimes they call out the order, but if you're a little too far away you might miss it so be sure to pay attention. Food is pretty good for the amount of money you pay. I've heard good things about their wings, but never got a chance to try it.“
