Italian Restaurants near Ranchos De Taos

“We had dinner this past weekend at Trading Post Market and were really impressed with the dishes we ordered. The shrimp scampi special was the real deal! It's tough to get authentic Italian pasta in Taos and this was outstanding. Also need to mention the mac and cheese with lobster, which has a unique and tasty blend of seasonings. I would highly recommend driving a little further south to the Trading Post for delicious food and a
friendly atmosphere.“

“We appreciated being welcomed in last minute on New Year’s Eve—that was a plus. However, the atmosphere felt a bit uncomfortable at times due to staff correcting one another in front of patrons, which came across as harsh.

The food was good, though my meat lasagna was a bit salty as I continued eating. The wine was enjoyable. While many reviews mention how busy and exceptional the food is, there were actually plenty of open tables when we visited.

Overall, the food was good but not fabulous. Had the overall attitude and staff interactions been more pleasant, I would have given this place five stars.“
