I was just passing through. Someone had recommended this place. It’s kind of out of the way, but man what a treat! This is a local legend in this town.

We stopped in for a late breakfast/brunch, and it was standout! Fresh and delicious, and big servings. Blue corn blueberry pancakes were very good, papas con carnitas were delicious, and the green chili pork stew was amazing!

We had dinner this past weekend at Trading Post Market and were really impressed with the dishes we ordered. The shrimp scampi special was the real deal! It's tough to get authentic Italian pasta in Taos and this was outstanding. Also need to mention the mac and cheese with lobster, which has a unique and tasty blend of seasonings. I would highly recommend driving a little further south to the Trading Post for delicious food and a
friendly atmosphere.

Great experience! The chicken carbonara was surprisingly good…this coming from a Sicilian. The staff and the owner were very friendly.

Highly recommend to anyone on vacation at Taos.

Do not pass on this restaurant! Beat all the traffic and reservation making and enjoy a nice hot freshly cooked to order meal. Family friendly, with games available while you wait. We played UNO. Large back wall full of interesting books to look through, which we did. The owner Ky was very welcoming and attentive. Really nice guy, he served us our food. Which was delicious! We had, the creamy chicken and asparagus soup, FANTASTIC!!! The prime rib with mashed potatoes, BBQ sliders, garden salad with pesto dressing (AMAZING) and mac and cheese! All really really good! Also, kids eat free! I should gave mentioned that earlier!😊 After a day of boarding, it was great to finish the day with a delicious meal in an authentic Taos restaurant.😋

We went in for lunch, followed the sign at the door, grabbed menus, and seated ourselves as instructed. From that moment on, we were treated like we didn’t exist.

We sat for several minutes with zero acknowledgment. A middle-aged male staff member made direct eye contact with us—clearly saw us—then chose to keep cleaning tables instead. When he finally spoke, it was only to say he’d “be right back.” He then continued cleaning and casually chatting with two other men near the kitchen. Serving us was clearly not a priority.

It became obvious we were not going to be helped.

We got up and walked out. On the way out, we explicitly told them we hadn’t been served. The response was total indifference. No apology. No concern. Just blank looks.

This was not about being busy. This was not understaffing. This was selective attention—and it was unmistakable. When staff can see you, acknowledge you, then deliberately choose not to serve you, that’s not an accident. That’s bias, plain, simple, and blatant to see.

We will never return, and others deserve to know exactly how customers who don’t fit a certain profile may be treated here.

Ordered take out, quality was excellent, service was casual (I was the only customer). Added a dessert and drink upon seeing the selection. Felt a bit of sticker shock but, again, food was excellent and ingredients top quality.

Most recently, I had Huevos Rancheros two times, once Christmas style (red and green) and once with red sauce. The food Ky and his staff prepares is absolutely delicious every time.

Service is warm and friendly. I went with a group of six or eight friends for Saturday breakfast. All of our orders were perfect and the server separated us into separate tickets at checkout.

The atmosphere is warm and Taos cozy. It feels warm and welcoming.
