If you want a great bite to eat off of 25, this is your place. The bun was soft and toasted, the meat seasoned, the green chili was spicy - but not too hot, and the bacon was chopped. The burger was great. Pat the owner came and chatted with me for a bit. Nice time.

Great food. Off the interstate 1/4 mile. Worth passing the fast food joints to find.

A very unassuming place with really good food! My son devoured the bacon cheese fries. They were so hot and fresh. The walking taco was really flavorful and delicious. The club sandwich was huge and tasty too. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
We didn’t end up ordering any food because my wife felt genuinely unwelcome the moment we asked a simple question. The person behind the counter was incredibly impatient and patronizing. As visitors passing through New Mexico, we were curious about the red and green chile options—clearly a big part of the local cuisine—but we had no idea what the difference was. Instead of being excited to share something so culturally significant, the cashier responded with irritation, as if we were somehow wrong for not already knowing.
The tone was dismissive, and the message was clear: if you’re not from here, you don’t belong here. We left and ate elsewhere, where the staff was proud of their food and happy to explain it. We ended up trying the red chile and really enjoyed it — but only because someone took the time to treat us like people, not like a nuisance. What a missed opportunity.

We had the cheeseburger and fries and bacon chili cheese fries, they were both amazing. The burger was juicy with the buns toasted to perfection and the cheese fries were very tasty. We are definitely making this a regular stop when we find ourselves in Raton. The customer service was very friendly and attentive, in the patio area they even let our pup chill out. Would definitely recommend!

Just left this place not even 20 minutes ago and feel compelled to write a review. We were driving along I-25 and I needed some food. Ordered a burger and fries. Those were some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time (maybe ever?) - they were crispy and well-salted. The burger was also excellent and ranks up there with some of the best. I’m so happy we decided to take a pretty random stop in a small town. We will definitely be back anytime we are traveling that way.

Generous portions, good food and clean restroom. Super friendly owner treated our pup out on the patio with a treat. Great place to stop on the way through town.

Omg. My husband and I ate here almost a year ago and we are STILL talking about it: We had a couple of burgers and a handheld blueberry pie. The burgers were to die for and the best we’ve ever ver had. Hands down.

Being from out of state, we didn't know what to expect, but the name of the place kind of drew us in. Folks this little place was a VERY pleasant surprise and apparently very popular with the locals. It's small, not the most modern environment but the food is FANTASTIC!!! We had cheeseburgers and a frito pie with the green chili Verde queso with pork and all were so good! But the frito pie was such a wonderful treat, nothing like any frito pie I've ever had. He service was wonderful. Can't wait to visit again! THANK YOU AOS!!
