My wife and I just had breakfast and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly.

My grandson and I had gone in to have breakfast on a Sunday about 8:30 am. It wasn’t too busy when we got there! He ordered French toast with bacon and I ordered a smothered bf burrito with bacon! His French toast was kind of just bread that looked like French toast! And his bacon which costed $5.50 for 3 slices was too hard to eat, so he didn’t eat it! My bf burrito was weird, the green chile it was smothered with was like a brownish gray sauce at first sight! But in my mind I’m thinking this is NM known for its green chile so I was like well I’ll give it a try you never know! It tasted like gravy cooked in oil! But I cut it open and I kid you not there was a thick layer of cold cheese that didn’t even melt…smh 🤦♀️ I took another bite and said I can’t do it! I left most of the burrito except like 3 tiny bites. My grandson ate a little bit of his! And he is like a food suction machine but not today! We ended up paying $40 for a bf burrito a coffee, French toast, bacon, a side of hash Browns for him and an orange juice! After that we went on the chair lift and as we were coming down I saw their delivery truck that said the best breakfast in Red River and thought wow! Really 🤔

This place was next door to where we were staying. We were looking forward to their French Toast breakfast. The open at 7am, we arrived at 720. Standing in line to order, we over heard an order for that anticipated French toast, to only hear, the kitchen say that is the last of the French toast! How do the run out at 730 in the morning, when they only have been open for 30 min? The close at 2pm, you would think they would of been able to aquire items for the next day? Sadly, after confirming what we heard, we walked out. Luckily, a guy across the street seeing our bewildered looks, asked if we were looking for a place for breakfast. He recommended a place he had gone the day before. We found it and were pleased with the recommendation.

The girl at the register seemed overwhelmed with the line and answered rudely when I didn't hear what she said and had to have her repeat her question. Saw reviews online about the breakfast burritos so that's what I ordered, but it was really bland, no chile, not even a side of salsa, and the cheese was cold and not melted.

Drove to the wrong Shotgun's, I enjoyed the food and having saved a lot of money.
Very small inside with very few booths! They are quick to wait on you and you get food fast! They are friendly. Wish there was better seating...but you get what you get and they stayed open after October fest! Thankful for that...most of Red River shut down and they stayed open!
