A group of six of us had lunch at Yesterday's. It is one of only a few restaurants that are open before the weekend. I had a salad and it was very good. My friends enjoyed their meals. They are very short staffed as are many of the restaurants in Red River at this time of year. Our wait for our food was not very long.

I was on a very long road trip from Denver to San Antonio. Took a different scenic route that brought me to Red River, NM and I’m glad that happened. I was starving and this spot was awesome! If you’re here in the town - you should be here for breakfast. It’s that simple.

My wife and I eat here every now and then, the food is always tasty, the specials are fun and often New Mexican inspired. you get a lot of food so come hungry, service is quick and attentive.

Tasty food, fun atmosphere and pleasant staff. Loved the decor in the ladies room.
This place is ridiculous. They seat you immediately and then give you a buzzer for when you can order without disclosing this information beforehand. We waited almost an hour, asked a couple of times when we can order and they just kept telling us when the buzzer goes off. Come to find out it ended up being almost another 30 minutes before we could even order yet alone wait for our food. Do not eat here.

On Tuesday June 10th 2025 we stopped on our road trip to eat. This diner is one of those places where the food is okay but the service needs to make up for the rest. As we ordered and sat down our service was amazing thanks to the waitress checking in and helping us. Half way through the meal all we heard over the tv playing was an older woman (the owner) yelling at the waitress and then yelling at her not to cry. As the young waitress walks away to gather herself the owner slams down a note pad and started yelling at her to not walk away cause that’s “rude”. How ironic… I was so fed up with it that I finally walked up and asked the young girl if she was okay and she just kept trying to change the subject so I went over to the owner and gave her some friendly advice to lead by example. The minute I walked away she sent the young girl home over the frustration she had with me telling her how she was treating people was wrong. Moral of the story after a long vacation and long drive home I 100% regret eating here and strongly advise finding some other place in town because anything would’ve been better than mediocre food and an extremely rude owner.
