“My husband and I stoped in to try a new coffee place. I got a chia latte and my husband got a cortado- the drinks were great. I normally don’t like cortados but had a sip of my husbands and enjoyed it- very well balanced. Everyone was friendly and it’s well decorated with some seating. Good choice of drinks, and beans! Definitely found a new favorite.“

“Cutbow is the best coffee shop in Albuquerque, I can never get enough of it. Paul, the owner, is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and never fails to greet anyone who comes in to the shop. I’ve been going to cutbow for over a year, and every time I am satisfied. Their coffee is delicious and the staff is knowledgeable about every item on the menu whenever I have questions. “Red Rock is a hidden gym in NM. I don't live in the state any longer and still order their coffee. I buy a lot of fresh roasted coffee and they are still at the top of my list for best, most consistent roaster. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the coffee.“

“Nice place, much larger inside than it seems from the outside. Plenty of outdoor seating on a nice day. My friend and I stopped by late morning on a Tuesday. The establishment had a very steady flow of traffic but not too crowded. It was clean and there is a nice variety of seating. Service took a while and we couldn't figure out why the line, just to order, was moving so painfully slow since the wait to get the order was not much at all. I had the dark roast coffee and the gluten free berry muffin and the coffee was tasty and rich - quite good - and the muffin very good.“

“Beautiful little cozy coffee shop. The drinks are phenomenal and the inside is gorgeous. I recently moved to the area and it’s the one closest to me and I could be happier. Super happy that I’m so close to this gem of a coffee shop!Vegetarian options: They have some good vegan breakfast options and good milk substitutes as well!“

“The coffee was great. They really know what they're doing and I love that you can look at the beans and smell them, as well as read about them before buying. I was nerding out so hard about that. The latte I got was delicious. The food was average. Not bad but not amazing. There wasn't enough seating so I had to go sit in my car to eat my breakfast because it wasn't warm enough for outdoor seating, but when I looked around there were only maybe 5 parties total so not a lot of people, there's just not a lot of dine in seating space. I would have given 5 stars if I was able to find seating inside.“

Whiting Coffee Co Coffee • $
3700 Osuna Rd NE # 510, Albuquerque - 6.44 miles

“Best coffee in the city if you are a discerning coffee drinker. Open hours are limited so plan your visit accordingly. See photo for posted hours. They now have a website and take all forms of payment. The store also sells syrups and coffee accessories. When you visit, go down a few doors and check Eurozone! Yum!Update: Was able to by today. We purchased several bags of coffee and some Lingonberry jam which I can usually only find at Ikea. The two men working were EXTREMELY helpful and have very obvious expertise they willingly shared. Really looking forward to trying Espresso Blend, Caffeine Free Natural and, oh my gosh, French Silk. French Silk has the most heavenly aroma!!!!“

New Mexico Piñon Coffee Coffee Roasteries • $$
2420 Comanche Rd NE Ste D2, Albuquerque - 8.02 miles

“New Mexico Piñon Coffee has been my go to since pre COVID. During COVID, they chose to do free shipping to local customers because we couldn't come in to their store or go to their coffee shop. Apparently, it was incredibly successful because they have kept free shipping for local buyers and have a rewards system if you're a frequent shopper.I chose them not only because they are a local business but because of how often they roast their beans.I will admit to being a coffee snob in so much that a fresher roast matters for a better bloom. Even trying a company that sourced it's coffee from around the world and claimed to roast it's coffee two weeks before shipping, I still wouldn't get a bloom like I do from NMPC.I do miss the Pistachio flavor. That was my favorite but as that's one of our top exports, I understand that it simply became too expensive.I strongly recommend them for all your coffee as they can be found in Smith's, online, and at their two locations.“
