Came here for music bingo after finding this place on alb foodies page, have to say we've had the most wonderful time! Love the kid friendly environment, the pizza is amazing and beers cold and fresh! We aren't rio rancho residents but we will be sure to be back!! Kudos to the owners on the food drive and kid friendly meals.

absolutely love finding a good hole in the wall place with great food and the cider we drink on tap! We received excellent service and the Nachos were delicious as well as the pizza! 10 out of 10! Definitely will be making this spot to stop at at least once a month!!

The vibe here is just unmatched. They play genuinely good music—the kind that makes you want to stay for one more round without having to shout over it. It strikes that perfect balance of being lively yet relaxed.
It's clear that this level of quality and hospitality starts at the top. A huge thank you to the owners, John and Destiny, for creating such a wonderful local establishment. The commitment they show to their staff and their customers truly shines through, making The Hopper the best neighborhood hangout around. Go see Cienna!

Been here several times and for the most part have always had a great experience. The food is good, the atmosphere and live music are fun, and the staff is friendly… especially the short brunette; She always gets it done and takes great care of us!!

Lost My Sense of Time (and Maybe My Dignity)

Went in for one drink. Had five. Don’t remember the middle part, but I do remember Cienna laughing like a Disney villain and somehow convincing me to try a new pizza. It changed me. Spiritually. Possibly medically. She was cool would go back just to hear that laugh again

The bartender, Cienna, clearly hates her job. She barely looked up, moved like she had all the time in the world, and somehow managed to make a drink that tasted like regret. The place was loud, the lighting was weird, and the whole atmosphere screamed “we stopped trying years ago.”
Anyway, I’d come back. 5 stars.

Cienna is literally the best bartender I’ve ever had. She anticipates customer needs and is so fun to talk to. Amanda makes the best pizza she’s so fast. I would definitely come back. 🙂

Hand down, this is my favorite pub in Rio Rancho! The staff is always so welcoming, the food is top notch, and the beer selection is always fantastic!
The Hopper is like the bar in “Cheers” because everybody knows your name, and there’s never a dull moment whether it’s watching one of the many live bands performing nightly, or sharing a laugh with one of the patrons! The owners are wonderful people and make you feel like family when you meet them! If you haven’t come out to The Hopper before, I highly recommend coming with your whole family to enjoy the atmosphere and some of the hottest live music in Rio Rancho!
