Fantastic food from a talented chef and prices were great for what you got. Staff was super friendly and tried their best but service was a bit slow because they were simply overwhelmed. Kind of an oddball setting for such amazing chef-prepared food but don't be discouraged, your taste buds will appreciate it! Try the flavored teas and lemonades, those were also yummy. And sit outside if you want a nice setting with the woods right there to see.
Parking: It's a tight parking lot shared by several businesses, including the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Not sure there's much on the menu for little kids, but adventurous teens should be good to go.

Our third time here. Maybe fourth. New restaurant and we were one of their first customers. Food is good but they are always out of something. Today no taco sauce for the tacos. No butter for the loaded baked potato. No glasses. No ice. Although server was nice the service was slow. Most likely our last time because it’s always the same. Just bad service. They need more servers.

Unique menu and beautiful spot, tucked among the trees and near several cute shops to browse before or after a meal. The patio is dog-friendly (so are the staff!), partially shaded, and has a lovely view of the creek. The interior is something out of a Frida Khalo dream, filled with color and rustic charm. The decor is inspired by the Mexican Loteria card game aesthetic, and it's a running theme that ties into the menu dishes (e.g. La Muerte salad, El Borracho burger, etc). We had burgers for lunch, along with the soup of the day. The soup was absolutely delicious, reminiscent of albóndiga soup. We enjoyed lavender infused iced tea and lemonade with our lunch ( beer would have been great with the burgers but this restaurant doesn't serve alcohol). We also were eager to try the fried nopal cactus appetizer but they had run out (this seems to be a popular menu item, and we missed out since it was close to 3pm when we arrived for lunch). The food portions were generous and the prices reasonable. I did wish there were more vegetarian main course/entrée options on the menu besides salads. Our server was attentive and kind, and clearly excited about the chef's current and future concept for the restaurant (we learned it opened only 3 months ago). We look forward to going back next time we're in Ruidoso!

One of the best restaurant experiences in my entire life! The food was out-of-this world amazing! Everyone there - the owner/chef, sous chef, all of the staff - were very warm and welcoming! An outstanding dining experience. Worth the trip to Ruidoso all on its own!
My husband and i took a day trip around new mexico and ended here, for dinner. for our anniversary. Service was amazing since we walked in. we sat on the back patio. and not even 4 bites in my husband said “we’re going to come here every anniversary.” and i promptly agreed.our waitress was such a sweetheart. and the rest of the staff that had checked on us at any point were also extremely kind as well! We LOVE it here. and we will be back (most likely before our next anniversary) ?

I am really happy to see that this restaurant opened again and is trying something differently from the larger restaurant that was on Hwy 70. We tried going there several times but they were always closed. We’ve been to the new location 3 times now, once was today and they were closed for an emergency. The other 2 times were great! First time we had lunch items; the chicken sandwich, a salad, appetizer and lemonades. I only had an hour for lunch and it took my entire hour, granted they had only been open a couple days so still getting stuff lined up. The food was good though! Chicken sandwich was a little too large, difficult to eat bc it didn’t cool off fast enough but flavor was good. The truffles fries were just okay, not a big fan of battered fries. Salad was great, I did order w chicken but they forgot the chicken, didn’t have a time to wait for chicken so I ate it as it was. The cactus app was alright, a little too greasy for us.Second time there were more staff members and our food came out very quick! The special was chicken & waffles and they were amazing!! Chicken was perfectly breaded & fried, tender & juicy and w great flavor. The waffles were sweet and had a crunch to them but also fluffy and paired well w the chicken. Then chef Ny gave us some complimentary fries and these fries were herb & parm (maybe) and not battered and were fantastic!! I shared them w my co-workers who all loved them as well.Definitely recommend you stop by and try out their menu. We look forward to trying more menu options!

Wow!!!! Absolutely delicious food, neat ambiance with a crackling fireplace. Even though our waiter was brand new, he was knowledgeable and attentive. We could see and taste the loving energy chef NY and her team put into this restaurant.
Parking: Kind of strange, but it IS Ruidoso! Not difficult to find a place though.

Went to Corazon today, had breakfast the Estrella and the burrito, both were delicious. Service was amazing and everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely a must go to in Ruidoso, you won't be disappointed! We will definitely be going back!
I got one plate, for chinese Wednesday. They charged me $20 For a plate I can fill up at a buffet. They told me they wouldn’t start making my food until I got there, but my food looks like it has been sitting. i got there and the staff was just rude. dissatisfied.!
