Jorge’s is always great!!! This was my favorite restaurant growing up and wish I could still get food like this in the southeast where I live now. I recommend the free smothered bean burrito!

I absolutely adore this place, this is the best restaurant I have been at my first week at Ruidoso!! The waiter was so nice and the atmosphere was clean and pretty much happy. I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for Mexican food that tastes good!

Food is good! Service is not. We were ignored for 25 minutes while watching all the tables around us get tended to for their every need, not even one refill. It wasn't busy, it was very much intentional by the staff. Pretty disheartening :[

Wow! I never thought I would taste a better menudo some places in El Paso have, including mine! Lol. Perfection?! Absolutely! Their menudo is spicy enough to enjoy, but not leave your mouth in spice pain. Even though it wasn’t honeycomb tripe, the meat was lean and not greasy. The bolilllo was to die for! It was so big I had to share. My hat off to you, Jorge’s cafe! Anyone in EP looking for that perfect menudo will have to drive a couple of hours on a weekend to Jorge’s cafe! Totally worth it!!

No wait to be seated. Once seated, it took forever to place our order, took long for refills, creamer, and for parties of 6, it's an automatic gratuity.
The food was great. They were pretty full so the service was a bit slow. They were very friendly. It was a bit loud in there as well. I would go back because the food was so good.

I took my family here for a dine in experience and was massively disappointed! The service was HORRIBLE. Servers were RUDE! The table, filthy. I wonder when the last time was they cleaned underneath the plastic guard. Our food was brought out at different times, and the kids were fed LAST. They had quesadillas, come on! Kids should always be fed first…. Since I waited to eat until my children had been served, my food was soggy and COLD. HORRIBLE!!! I was amazed to see the servers asking some people how the food was, and how they were, but we weren’t asked anything or greeted at all, almost as if we weren’t welcome! We did get a lot of nasty looks too! There are huge racial issues here. HUGE. For a place that relies on tourism, that’s a death sentence. Shame on those servers for treating my children that way, while being nice to others. It’s really disgusting and shameful, GROW UP! I’ll never spend another dime here. These people just don’t deserve my money. (Or anyone else’s) What a disgrace. It really just blew my mind. 😡🤯
