Los Victor's Mexican food California style #13

Pretty frustrating. I drove 30 minutes ro eat here as it said that they are open on a Tuesday evening, but they couldn't be bothered updating their Google profile with their hours since they are clearly not open. I will update if I am able to try it again.

A WHILE BACK I CAME IN FOR A COKE AND JUST ORDERED CHIPS AND GUACAMOLE WITH SALSA. IT WAS REALLY REFRESHING SO I THANK YOU FOR BEING ABLE TO BE CRUELTY FREE.

Stopped today and it appears to be closed for business unfortunately.

Not welcoming at all. Guy came out from the back like I was bothering him. Food was bland especially the avocado that tasted sour and this bread did not look like the one in the menu (torta). The supposed salsa bar didn't have anything in it but maybe a spoon full and tostadas were stale... Maybe Monday is a bad day.

After it was placed under new management and staff I do not recommend anymore. The familiar staff that was here before were professional during call for takeouts (like ask the name under the order, repeat the order, gave time to when to pick up, and actually gave us the total amount of the order) which these new people didn't do and felt like it was their first day of the job. Besides the previous management and staff made the food like it was made at a loving warm home (delicious!). Now, the food taste bland and dry especially the Victors super burrito (which is not so super anymore). The previous management and staff are clearly irreplaceble and I am saddened that they're gone. I suggest to go somewhere, and I'll most likely won't come back.

Never see anyone in there when I door dash, but they have a lot of dashing food deliveries. So it must be good.

I didn’t see that Mexican welcome , when you walk in no greeting. In a rude manner I was told to order my food by counter. The serve had little knowledge of the menu he charged me something else opposed to what I had order, even I went back to let him know . He got mad in rude way he told me he will give me the difference. When he got my food he didn’t delivery he drop it on the table and still he got wrong, I got burritos when I had ask for breakfast plates. I decided not to argue and walk out without finishing my food. P.s for the owner removed from your sign Mexican style food bc with that kind of service and hospitality the food won’t have good flavor and taste.

My boyfriend and I came here our first night in ruidoso and HAD to come back before we left! The BIRRA tacos were AMAZING. Highly recommend to anyone who love Mexican food and especially BIRRA tacos!

My whole family had explosive diarrhea after eating here. Don’t recommend!

Placed DoorDash order and Dasher says doors are locked when advertised as open. Waste of time and money.

The chile relleno was good as were the rice and beans. They have some HOT sauces. 🥵 $4 for a fountain drink and $2 for refills is ridiculous.

Went online to order this last night ! Door dash . The time says they close at Midnight , ordered at 10pm and the dasher sent me a picture . They were very much closed !! So not only did I waste time w settling w an order ! But the dasher wasted time driving over there to send me a picture and message showing them being closed !
So I lost out on 6$ tip ! I wasn’t going to not give the dasher something !
Then also losing opportunity at other places that were open , but closed after all said and done !

UPDATE YOUR HOURS !!!!

Asada tasted salty, price was dollar higher then the menu. Coke was 4.50 a bottle.
Way too over priced and didn't taste good at all.

So I been on the road what feel like over 3 weeks. One night, I stopped here pretty late and may have ordered when the store was closing however these folks still made me order. Sorry about that! Also, speaking of things happening I thought I lost my phone. I returned back to this location and asked if they saw a phone. One of the employees helped me out and let me use their phone to call mine to letting use their phone flashlight to search in my car. I eventually found it so thank to the what I could give 10/10 support because I am clumsy. Also needed some food and support to find my phone. Thank you all and I will return without all the drama lol. Ahe'hee'/Gracias!!
