Basecamp is a great event space on the outskirts of town with Lost Hiker beer on tap, but I don't think it's been open since the fire. Highly recommend when open, but you can also go to the cute taproom in the middle of town! They brew their own beer with just the right amount of selection, and also have some great merchandise for souvenirs. Definitely stop here--support local, as the community is recovering from the devastating fire and mudslides.
We saw The Doso Dirtbags Band in Roswell. Had a great time watching them, chatted with them during their set and they invited us to go to Ruidoso for the 5th anniversary of the Lost Hiker. Sounded like a great idea. Drove out had some good Mexican out of the food truck and some great beers while listening to the band hanging out with the locals. Such a great little brewery. Highly recommended.

Beer is okay, disappointed that I got charged $5 for playing with a boardgame that was missing most of it's pieces. There was no sign that I noticed that warns you of this additional charge.
wandered into Lost Hiker looking for a cool spot to recharge with a cold beer. As soon as that cold brew hit my lips I knew i found a good place to reset. Mr White (Belgian wit) and Das Hefehiker hit the spot. Cheers
Stopped in for a random live music show and loved the atmosphere here! The bartender was welcoming and friendly. Loved their blonde beer! Super cool place!
