My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment. The staff were very hospitable and the food was great! The restaurant was clean and organized. While we were waiting for our meal, the owner, unbeknownst to us, approached our table to kindly let us know our food will be right out and asked us how our experience was. That touched my heart! We will return on future trips.
This place was AMAZING. I'm disappointed I can only give 5 stars. We stopped in looking for burgers after a day of walking and shopping in Ruidoso. It's just up the street but not right smack in the middle of downtown, which is perfect. We arrived just at 5 and it was empty, but got busy as we were eating. They were able to get our large party in on a Saturday very quickly! The food was very good and the service was great! Everyone was very friendly. My husband had the chicken fried steak sandwich, that is hand breaded and he said it was one of the best he’s ever had! The pizza was delicious, crust was hand tossed and homemade. Donnie’s is a great place to eat!!
