Absolutely amazing meal. I had the New York strip. Easily one of the top 5 steaks I’ve ever had. Wife had the vegan enchiladas that were delicious. We shared a stuffed avocado and breaded Chile strips. Two new dishes that knocked our socks off. Staff were very friendly, responsive, and made frequent checks. The owner was engaging and very friendly. Absolutely on our return next year for our anniversary trip restaurant list!
Grill Caliente does have the best Chile relleno I’ve ever had. I 100% agree with Marylou. It is breaded just how I like my rellenos, crispy. I also ordered the stuffed avocados. They were delicious as well. I highly recommended Grill Caliente. Great service and not too pricey.
Grill Caliente in Ruidiso, New Mexico has the best chili rellenos I have ever tasted in my life! The chili relleno plate came w delicious charro beans and rice. We also had amazing green chili chicken enchiladas, which were also among the best we have ever tasted.
