One of the best (and least expensive) happy bar menus in Santa Fe. Best kept secret status. Excellent & friendly staff, great variety & quality (both happy hour & regular menus), great atmosphere. Definitely a favorite.

I had the lobster corn chowder, which was excellent and very hearty. This was the Christmas day prefix and for the entrée I had the lobster tail with Three gigantic, tasty scallops. The crème brûlée was perfection.

we were wowed by the excellent and well-priced food in this gorgeous hotel. After other poor fine dining experiences in Santa Fe, this place was a find. Great service and ambience with a guitarist playing too. Big portions. Highly recommended.

NOT A BUFFET!!! Google brings this place up in "Buffet" listing due to several reviews that list ones that occured during special holidays.

I was impressed with the place the second we walked in. Friendly staff, beautiful seating area, views out the windows, burning fireplace, and comfortable seating. We'll spaced out so no one is sitting right next to our table so there is a little privacy. Food was delicious. Breakfast and dinner were delightful.

Had the poblano stuffed with corn, with mole and rice on the side. So good. There chicken enchiladas were good too, as were the prickly pear margaritas.

WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!!! AAND WE HAVE BEEN TO 1,000s of restaurants in the United States, and at least 100 abroad. If there was a way we could rate this “restaurant”, Amaya, LOWER than a 1 (one), WE WOULD. We would rate it some where along the lines of a negative 1,000!!!! The food was horrifically BAD BAD BAD. SERVICE WAS NON-EXISTENT. SERVICE WAS HORRENDOUS, APPALLING, ABHORRENT, DREADFUL!!! We sat for over 30 minutes before anyone even bothered to take or drink order. There was no bread or anything on our table, just water and that took 15 minutes to get). We were hungry and about to eat our own fingers. It was an hour before our dinner order was taken. Then it was another hour before we got our food!!!! The restaurant is stark and un-inviting. Nothing on the walls and the colors of the walls are a putrid yellow—No Thanksgiving decorations, no day of gratitude or giving thanks decorations, no Christmas decorations—-nothing—-not even a Dollar Store picture in a frame. No table cloths on the tables. Ugly chairs, ugly tables. They had the lights on triple blinding high at dinner time. It really felt as though we were dining in a cheap, very badly rated, nursing home. Food was so SO HORRIBLE —-horrible. We left our entrees on our plates as they tasted so AWFUL. The desserts, were bland, and I would bet money they were bought prepackaged at some food supply place that provides food for Dollar General type restaurants. ??? RETURN OUR MONEY!!!

While visiting on business, I enjoyed dining at Amaya. The cuisine offered a variety of local flavors. Don't skip dessert - the gala apple tart was incredible.

The food was great with friendly staff. We really loved the lamb dish, everything on it was tasty. Beef tenderloin was also wonderful, but the mashed potato was so-so. The duck was delicious; and the salmon tasted good, but our hungry teen was able to eat it in five minutes. One complaint is that the lady who served a different table near us hit the back of my seat several times without noticing or saying anything :/

Sometimes a nice hotel has a good restaurant. This was not one of those times. Service was ok, and the food was what you might expect at a sports bar. Chicken quesadillas were soggy and the chicken pot pie was like Swanson’s. The dining room was little more than a high school cafeteria. I’m hoping that maybe it’s off season and they were just a little off their game.
