We Love AV. We wanted to sit on the patio and we did. It was a lovely overcast evening. The western sun--which usually is intense was hidden by heavy clouds. We politely asked if the shades could be raised so we could enjoy the clouds but were told that they can't raise until after sunset. Whaaaa. Beautiful dinner with impeccable serviceBoth the food offerings and wine offerings are varied and delicious. Our go to place for special occasions and non special alike. Check out their sunset deck, their many wine tastings, and don't forget- for a week after dining with them- all liquor purchases from their wine room, are 10% off!
The food was great (tuna tartare and cavatelli both shared) but the gin and tonic is the best I've had. Our server (unsure how to spell but pronounced Dee-ah-na) was awesome - always available and attentive - but also let us go at our pace which was two friends catching up after a long reprieve. Highly recommend for a cool refreshing beverage on the patio. I hear the burger is good so will try that next time!
