We had a lovely lunch and dinner at The Blue Heron during our staycation at Ojo Santa Fe. The Fish Tacos and sides for lunch were very yummy. Our dinner salmon entrees and our desserts were delicious, too. Great restaurant I Santa Fe with a gourmet menu and beautiful setting whether you eat outside with a view of the spring fed lake or inside the elegant air conditioned dining room.
We haven't been here in quite awhile and it definitely feels a step down. Service was slow-ish, entrees were not all brought out together for party of four, drinks were good, entrees a bit uneven and not all attractively presented (some were). sherbet trio was liquid sugar, really not that enjoyable at all. The servers were so amazing. They did a great job talking to us about the menu and getting us what we needed. The restaurant and massage therapists carried the experience. Lodging was rocky with someone's leftovers being left in our fridge and some additional clues that the lodging wasn't cleaned fully. I did hear that their “system” had been on the fritz for two weeks at time of lodging and dining, but I was shocked they hadn't found a workaround or solution...
