This used to be an amazing place to get breakfast and beyond meat burgers. But they got rid of the ENTIRE breakfast menu, and removed beyond meat options for food. I would have given this place 5 stars but until you bring back breakfast and beyond meat options, me and my friends will not be attending your restaurant.

I have lived in Santa Fe for 50 years and had been looking forward to returning to the Bobcat Bite now that it was under Jambo ownership.
Guess I picked the wrong day to sample. Only the Chef and one wait person were to handle a situation in which every table was taken. The poor waitperson took orders, brought drinks, served food, put away dishes, and earned every bit of the tip we left.
Between the two of them, they did their best but waiting 15 minutes to place an order and then an hour for the food to arrive was really not acceptable. Was ready to leave when the food arrived, but decided to give it a chance. Price point fair and the meal was ample but the burger was overcooked and disappointing, especially given the Bobcat's burger reputation.
Not sure if there is a regular staffing problem but suggest that that guests be advised on such staffing issues should they arise. A 2-hour lunch was just not what we had in mind and it changed the character of our afternoon plans.
Doubtful that I will return, simply not worth it when Santa Fe has so many choices for a relaxed lunch, but I wish the Chef and the staff good luck.

Truly a Santa Fe vibe! Skip eating on the plaza and head up Old Pecos Trail. You won’t be disappointed! Only open till 3 PM. If you would like to eat at Jambo later, you can go to the Cerillos Road location simply called Jambo. That has a larger menu. We have eaten at that location multiple times and have never been disappointed in the meal or service.

I went for the burger, as everyone does, and it was decent, but it wasn't really up to the hype. I ordered to go, but had to wait a while to order because the front of house staff was slammed. Not their fault, they were working their butts off, the place just didn't seem adequately staffed. When I got my food, I tried to pay with a gift card, which I'd been told by staff at Jambo would be accepted and was the reason I was willing to make the drive. However, they apparently are lacking a card reader that can read gift cards, so I had to pay myself. Overall, the food was tasty, but the place doesn't seem to be well managed, and I don't think I'd go out of my way to visit again.
