We took guests from out of town on a Saturday evening. From start to finish our experience was fabulous. Service was stellar, food exceptional, and value is among the best in Santa Fe. This small, family owned restaurant is a real gem!

We are from the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, so we know good Italian food when we taste it. We discovered the BEST Italian food we have ever had! We were surprised and delighted to experience great Italian food at Cafe Grazie. Wonderful staff, quiet atmosphere in this small New Mexico gem.

What a lovely find on a trip to the Santa Fe area. This restaurant is in a mundane little shopping center outbuilding but you'll be transported to Italy the moment you sit down. I loved the portobello mushroom ravioli. Because I wanted desperately to try the house-made balsamic vinegar, we got the bread service. So good. Lightly toasted italian bread served with oil and the house balsamic. Skip the high dollar venues in Santa Fe proper and come to Cafe Grazie. You won't be disappointed in this family run gem!

Ordered the Fritto Misto, asked to substitute calamari for the other seafood. The calamari was overcooked and tough. Fettuccine de Carne - beef was tough and overcooked, probably well done. The sauce was oily, the sauce was not a marsala sauce just a tomato sauce. Gamberom a la Roma was adequate but overall not flavorful.

Hidden gem in plain sight. Highly recommend this intimate family owned restaurant. Excellent menu options, delicious food, excellent service and we were even greeted at our table by the owner. Downside: As the crowd increased, so did the noise level and the volume of the music. We suggest some noise reduction wall hangings.

Excellent food and the service was outstanding! We were visiting from Mexico City and the staff was nice enough to speak Spanish and explained the menu. GREAT Place!

Very nice, clean restaurant. Small and intimate. Service was great and food was delicious and priced well. Not overpriced like many restaurants in Santa Fe.

Category: Elevated Italian. I was hesitant to try this trattoria because it’s located in a freestanding building in the Target parking lot, but we finally tried it. We’re glad we did and regret not trying it sooner. This gem of a locals hangout has a cozy, comfy dining room with a few booths but no bar, a stacked stone accent wall, original art, and a wood/tile floor. White-paper-covered white tablecloths, black wooden tables and chairs, and a candle and flowers on each table set the upscale tone, but wait. The menu is a cross between the usual Italian suspects and creative house dishes. I really enjoyed the creative Fettucine de Carne with Filet Mignon, mushrooms, and a really delicious Marsala sauce. Sarah loved the classic Pollo Parmigiana. Both dishes were well prepared and generous (we took home enough for lunch the next day). But even though the tone and menu are upscale-ish, the prices are not. I don’t usually write about menu prices, but they were a fraction of the downtown Santa Fe prices, for food I enjoyed just as much if not more. The wine prices followed suit. We couldn’t have been happier to see that although the red wine list is small, all of the choices were under $50 (our sweet spot for restaurant wines), most were under $40, and one was under $30. This restaurant’s quality, plus the total bill, including wine, made me think for a moment that we were actually in Italy. Service was the team approach and excellent. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

Everything was amazing. You have to try this place. Very unassuming on the outside, but the food and service are top notch.

Chicken piccata was very salty, no lemon flavor at all. If we hadn't been so hungry, would have sent it back. Service and other food earned the stars.

This was my 4th time eating at Cafe Grazie, and the first time I had a bad experience. The bottom line is that after we ordered, it took over 90 minutes for us to get our food. We asked about it several times during the wait, and the wait staff just brushed us off, saying that good food takes time. In the meantime, parties that arrived after us were served their meals, finished, and left. The restaurant was not crowded, nor was there any other reason for the delay in getting our food. And, when we finally got our food, my salad was wilted and soggy. The chicken dish was dry (chicken was overcooked) and the seafood dishes were extremely salty and almost inedible. So, 4 out of 4 meals were very disappointing, and the service and wait time were inexcusable. We are 4 local Santa Fe residents and will not be going back. So disappointing.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday and had a great time! The food and service were both excellent. I really loved the frutti di misto and the risotto mare. Others enjoyed the chicken Parmesan. The place is small and wasn't very crowded but they should be packed!
