Casa Bonita now occupies the wonderful setting that was formerly the Second Street Brewery. One of the best outdoor dining areas in town. The train tracks are just a few feet away, and it's fun when the Rail Runner comes by. Our first time there. Enchiladas were very good, medium spicy red chile. Free chips with excellent salsa. The menu looks good and is varied. New Mexican and comfort food (steak, meatloaf, fish and chips, etc.). Nice place to go with good prices. Other tables were very happy with their food. Attentive, friendly staff! Wine and beer license will be active soon. Please check it out and help them get off to a good start. Recommend highly!

Well, this is a restaurant that you simply must try. The atmosphere is congenial, the service quick, and food comes fast. I ordered the wrong thing by mistake and I was sad when it came, but without questions or pause, the plate was kindly whisked away and very quickly replaced by what I wished I had ordered in the first place (the special). And oh my, was it delicious! Everything was perfect There were four of us, and we all absolutely loved our meals. Now I think we may have to start eating here on a regular basis! I'm so happy that this restaurant is here.

Decided to give this new restaurant a try. We were glad we did. It was beyond our expectations. Tried the crispy fish tacos, roast beef burrito and kids burger. ? Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back! Oh and the chips and salsa were amazing!

Casa Bonita is located where the old 2nd Street Brewery used to be, right off 2nd Street and the railroad tracks. We ordered the tacos, shredded beef on crispy corn tortilla shells and fish tacos on soft flour tortillas. Both tacos dishes come with rice and beans were very good. I was checking out some of the other dishes served at other tables close to us and they all looked yummy. One lady got a burger and it was really impressive looking. The servers are all very friendly and attentive. They also have complimentary chips and salsa which is the norm is Arizona but in Santa Fe the restaurants all charge for chips and salsa. The place is new so right now they don't serve alcohol but the hostess said they'll have beer and wine next month, April, 2024. I recommend it and will be back again soon to try it with a beer.

This new restaurant in the old Second Street building on Second Street is fantastic! We had a great meal - tons of delicious food, lots of options (New Mexican, Italian, burgers, sandwiches, etc. The service was great. They've freshened up the space really nicely.

1814 2nd Street! Before grand opening. We’ll go back and back. As we finished coffee and before ordering we were treated to a small sample of posolé. Great red chilé. Our habit on our first breakfasts at new places: huevos rancheros. Mine red, hers green (side of bacon, of course). Very friendly and attentive chef and waitresses. Good coffee (¡!) Great food. We’ll be back, and back. ☞ Highly ☜ recommended!

The food was excellent! My husband had the huevos rancheros and I had the huevos yucatecos. Both dishes were flavorful and just the right amount. The servers were very nice and attentive. Also it has the best patio in Santa Fe.
