Best monte cristo I've tasted. The service here is not adequate. I waited 20 minutes before someone came by to help. It was weird seeing one of the manager raging at one of the workers. The place doesn't look fully staff out of the three times I visited. The restaurant has been closed for a while too. I miss this place.

We loved this restaurant so much we had dinner and breakfast there almost every day last fall. Sadly, when we returned in June this year it was temporarily closed. It's a wonderful, authentic French restaurant. The pastries are fabulous and just as good or better than we've had in France. The dinners were just amazing and we're very hopeful they reopen soon.

Used to have great food, but unfortunately closed for almost a year now but it's still somehow listed on every reservation and food-delivery website, causing many people into showing up with reservations to a closed restaurant. Why they're still on google I have no idea, but as far as french cuisine in Santa Fe goes, you'll have better luck elsewhere.

My friend and I had lunch, 2 French onion soups, dessert and 2 glasses of wine each. The soup would have been very good but wasn’t nearly hot enough so the cheese was pretty just a mass and very hard to eat. The bread was good as were the desserts but at just under$100.00 including tip, I thought it was a bit overpriced for lunch. And I avoid returning anything because it throws the timing off. My companion would be finishing up while I would just be beginning to eat. Not sure I would recommend it.

The restaurant was closed when we got there. We made a reservation through Open Table and got a confirmation the day before our reservation date. Needless to say we were disappointed with both the restaurant and Open Table.

After a long drive we were looking forward to dinner at Chez Mamou. They were evidently closed for renovations. No one called or emailed us from either Chez Mamou or Open Table. And no way to treat valuable customers.

We confirmed reservation the day of reservation upon receiving message. But when we arrived for dinner, Chez Mamou was dark and closed. Very disappointing since we were not notified by message and did not have reservations elsewhere. Sign in window now says closed for remodeling. Open Table or the restaurant should have notified us.

After having a good lunch there last summer we reserved a second time in late July on open table and got a notice to confirm the res. We showed up. Nobody was there in midafternoon. Friends had the same thing happen. Last weekend it happened again! A res on open table for dinner, arrived, nobody there. Might work for a walk-in, but don't count on an online res.

We were shocked to arrive at Chez Mamou to see it is closed for renovation! We had very little time to find another place to dine before getting to a concert on time. In the future I will have to call the restaurant to confirm my reservation made with Open Table.

Despite having reservations, the restaurant was closed for renovations, leaving us scrambling to find another place to eat. Please communicate with OpenTable regarding your status. Also, the restaurant website did not have any mention of being closed

We were so very disappointed when we reserved a table, got a confirmation and went to the restaurant only to find it closed and completely shut down. There were no notices as to why this closure had occurred. This is really unacceptable, and a poor reflection on both the restaurant and on Open Table. We cannot accurately rate this restaurant since we could not dine there.

If you have special dietary restrictions this is not the place for you. They do not have vegan, Dairy free, or gluten free options. They were hesitant and discouraged substitutions. Like artichoke hearts for goat cheese was not an option. You can have salad, plain and simple. If you have no dietary restrictions you will love this place. It has a cute shop attached at the back with a great bead selection.

We have been at and enjoyed this restaurant several times. We made a reservation on Open Table that was confirmed. Had a long walk, parking 3 blocks away. Regardless, we arrived only to see a large sign in the front window “Closed for renovations. See you soon! Angry is not even close to our reaction. Who is the dumb ___ that didn't notify their reservation site and hasn't anyone noticed this situation? 12 other parties had made reservations the same day! Made rating all around is a huge zero

Oct 16, 2021, we arrived for our 6:30 dinner reservation (which had been made in person the morning of). When we arrived, they seemed to have no record of our reservation. Staff were rude when we attempted to talk with them. They did find a table for us and we were seated. Any attempt to ask questions about the menu were answered curtly. There were four of us in our party, and two had to made different selections due to the establishment having run out of food. We ordered, received salads, and then the third order had to be changed because they suddenly ran out of that menu item. So, one of four of our party was able to receive the desired meal. Service throughout the evening was rushed and rude.Having eaten at this establishment several years ago, we were eager to share the location with friends. With as many fine dining establishments in Santa Fe, this was a disappointment for all of us.Save your money and find somewhere else to eat!
