I've been a fan of Vienna Beef since I was a kid. Happy to see the Vienna Beef umbrellas in Santa Fe driving by for years. Finally made a stop, it was walk up and quick enough. The Santa Fe hot dog wasn't what I expected but the green Chile was spicy. I also ordered a Frito pie and it was one of the best I ever had. Real New Mexico red Chile and ground beef. Happy I made the stop.

I love Chicago style hot dogs, and this is the best place to get them! I moved here recently from Denver, and I was really missing my favorite Chicago dog place. This place filled that need, although I do miss they don’t have homemade french fries. Hint hint!
Both kid and dog friendly. Small free parking lot on the side. Nice employees. But it’s all about rec dogs and theirs are great!

Dennis has it wrong in many ways. As I said the best Chicago Dog is in Chicago. They have stands in Chicago. With a Chicago it is the some the total package which can wrong in Chicago. A dog in Santa Fe is simply the end result of the chilé.

Enjoyable experience at Chicago dog express! Just a regular degular dog but the poppy seed bun made for a nice change. Located at an intersection so if you are happy watching the cars wizz by then this might be your spot. Nice variety of menu options and wonderfully fast service. Overall a good experience if you need a quick dog.
