We walked in and the familiar aroma of Chipotle heightened our appetites. But we were disappointed to find they didn’t have cilantro or chops. Had to settle for overcooked white rice. Food had very low salt. Everything had too much cumin. Veggies were under-sautéed, dry and had a lot of cumin. Fire roasted salsa tasted like cumin. Nothing tasted like the amazing chipotle we were used to. Disappointing.
Due to food allergies, chipotle is one of the only chain restaurants I can eat. As sad as this is, that means I’m a connoisseur of chipotles. When it’s good, it’s great.
