Excellent service, excellent food, very nice ambience. Look forward to eating there more often. Our new favorite restaurant in Santa Fe.
Julian and team were excellent! We were celebrating a birthday and were treated accordingly. Scallops were awesome (unique flavoring and quite rich). The lobster dish was also generous and very rich. The elk and flat steak looked delicious but I did not try any. I had not been to the Coyote Cafe in over 30 years; I will not wait that long to return. Highly recommend!
Tried the mussels pasole. They should offer it as a main and make the app about half size. Overall an interesting concept combining 2 delicious foods. I also ordered the Wayagu short rib. Again, only complaint was the thing was about 2 pounds of meat on a 12 inch dinosaur bone. Very tasty, but it could feed two. Unfortunately I couldn't take the leftovers home as I was just in town visiting.
Classic old school Santa Fe restaurant serving elevated New Mexican and American fare. An outstanding wine list pairs well with five star service.
After some four decades, Coyote Cafe is better than ever. Service, ambiance, &--of course--the food & beverage, are all top notch. Creative, playful, just terrific.
Our meal was one of the best meals we have had. I know that Santa Fe does not allow Michelin stars, but if they did, Coyote Cafe would have at least one. The service we received was incredible and our server's recommendations were spot on! Thank you for a wonderful experience with food, service, and atmosphere!
Sadly they dropped the banana cream pie from the dessert menu, which we have ordered for 20 years. the current dessert menu is dull.
We ate at “Sazon” the night before and can state undoubtedly that COYOTE CAFE IS A BILLION TIMES BETTER IN ALL RESPECTS!!!! I would have to say Sazon's basically was a BIG rip off and hid charges and the food was “blah”. COYOTE CAFE's food was BEYOND EXCELLENT!!! The service at COYOTE CAFE was BEYOND EXCELLENT!!!! I would eat at COYOTE CAFE every night if I could!!! Their world-renowned Margaritas were BEYOND delicious! And OMG their infamous cornbread and three (3) spreads to go with it are out of this World. We loved our server and our service and WE BEYOND LOVED THE FOOD!!!
Wow.... Everything was FANTASTIC! From the moment we walked in, greeted by hostess, seated and taken care of immediately! The food (Cesar, pork belly tacos, elk, Mac n cheese) were beyond delicious! It was a wonderful birthday dinner!
Coyote Cafe is consistently excellent. Dinner was perfection. Service outstanding. 10 Stars!

Wonderful experience. Thoughtful service, and I appreciate the more daring elements of the dishes. The duck confit was deeply spiced and deliciously fatty, as it should be.
This restaurant is in partnership with Santa Cafe and is pretty close to it in quality. We came there on a Tuesday night and it was very quiet and had good attentive service. This should definitely be in the top 20 restaurants in Santa Fe.
We celebrated my husband's birthday with a lovely dinner at Coyote Cafe. As always, the food, service, and ambiance were superb. Many thanks to Matthew and other great staff members who made the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommended for special occasions!
We had two of the best servers ever. I wish I could remember both of their names. Our main server was Paris, and he was awesome!
Amazing experience! Beautiful presentation of the food, unique combinations, excellent service.
