Dolina makes very good food, but most recently I tried their chicken paprikash. My Gram used to make me this growing up, and I always loved it. Their recipe tastes EXACTLY like my Gram’s, including the spaetzles! I am a happy, happy person remembering my Gram who we loved so much every time I order this dish. Please keep it on the menu :))))

Amazing breakfast and lunch place. American and Eastern European items, plus exquisite bakery items. Husband had quiche, I had bacon & eggs. We both had hash browns with cheese and green chile. We had three pastries during the week... Pumpkin loaf, apple streusel and lemon pound cake. They also have borscht, polish cookies, Hungarian goulash, espresso bar, etc. Wish we could have tried more things. We were tourists. Definitely a must! On Guadalupe, south of Devargas Mall.

I quite like Dolina’s, but I worry about how busy it gets and whether the staff are equipped to handle the rush. We came in Monday around 12:00 and it took 15-20 mins to be sat. That is fine, but once we were sat the server immediately asked if we were ready to order (we’d maybe been sitting for one minute). After that, our server came in a timely manner, but it was clear that the atmosphere was very stressful. I ordered the baked eggs and they were good. I think it could’ve been served with more sourdough, seeing as I had no way of eating the remaining tomato sauce other than a spoon.
Separately, every time I have been to Dolina’s there is a wait. That is because the food is good and the restaurant is dependable. As a suggestion I wish there was an area designated for customers who are waiting to be seated. It can get very crowded and awkward with the servers running food, people waiting, and people there for pastries/to go.

Must try the Baked Eggs. Very nice mix of Italian tomatoe cheese and garlic sauce. Also the breakfast burrito is good if you are hungry. Great looking bakery and a lots of interesting menu items to choose from for lunch.
