After research for best wood fired pizza in Santa Fe including walking to multiple places to check out I discovered HAWT. This pizza hit all boxes as a 10 out of 10. I’ve been making pizza for years and using a Webber Grill-just like Owner did when starting. Unfortunately I live on East Coast and can’t get back too often. But this is by far one of the top pizzas in memory. I told chefs same before I left that night. What a discovery!
We had a craving for pizza and found that most restaurants that served pizza were closed on Sundays oddly. We found this place and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is located inside a hotel. The signage outside was very hard to understand because they had signage for the hotel for the Pizza as well as the bar, which were all different signs with a few different doors to go into. At the end, the pizza restaurant was actually just an extension of the bar....
