Best kept secret in town! The building was unassuming from the outside but step inside and you are greeted with a visual treat. It was beautiful and inviting. We popped in for lunch and was impressed by the Lunch Buffet. A variety of dishes with each one prepared to perfection! It was a little bit of a challenge to communicate with our server as he spoke and seem to understand limited English. We popped in for lunch but can't wait to go back and experience dinner. A DEFINITE MUST if you love Indian food.

The butter chicken was to die for and the naan was amazing it was soft, warm, and chewy! the atmosphere was very calming and laid back. The staff were exceptional and attended to everyone with great attention. if you want amazing Indian food with exceptional service and laid back calm atmosphere highly recommend India House!

Visited for lunch while driving through New Mexico. The buffet was about to close, but the staff kindly served us anyway. Unfortunately, the experience felt uncomfortable—staff seemed to watch my daughter closely since she wasn’t eating, and interactions felt unwelcoming. Food was average; some vegetable dishes were mostly cream-based gravy with noticeable MSG. While it might be a good spot for others, it’s not a place I’d personally return to

We stopped at this place en route to CO. We stopped here only because they were the only one to open earliest on the area. I am glad we didn’t try anything else. These guys have really set the bar high when it comes to Indian cuisine. If you are in the area, I would recommend give them a try and you won’t be disappointed. Number of veg items in the buffet was few compared to the non veg items, but each item was excellent. Only recommendation I have for them is if they can increase the number of veg items in the buffet.
India House is a readon for celebration. Great ambience, superb service, and delicious food. Best in SF.
