Food is so delicious, I almost broke my dietary plan. Service is top notch, and the ambience is remarkable. The gift shop has everything you can find in the safari at a decent price. Gift shop looked like a museum. A nice spot to take your date to. Highly recommended.

Yum! The oxtail was mindblowingly delicious. Everything about that dish delighted my senses. The chicken curry and chickpea berebere were decent but the roti, jerk chicken, and lamb stew were also bomb.

This is one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to. Get the goat cheese salad and the chicken kabobs. The hummus plate is wonderful. Everything we've eaten here has been amazing.

First time coming here, and I had the red carpet rolled out! Jambo Cafe is world renowned! Chef Ahmed Obo is world renowned and is from Lamu, which is an island off the coast of Kenya.
This restaurant has been featured on the food network and Guy Fieri has visited.
I was greeted with warm and welcoming customer service and seated promptly, despite the restaurant being jam packed. My thirst was quenched with a delicious Mango and lemon ginger juice!
For my appetizer I had the crab cakes! Doused them with scotch bonnet pepper sauce and enjoyed the fresh veggies that came with it! Yum!!! The flavors were divine.
For my main course I had the beef kebabs. Juicy and cooked with love! The potatos, greens beans, and arugula added to the steady fire of flavor!
I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth after all of this goodness. So for dessert I ordered a Jamaican rum pecan pie, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Good gracious! I wanted to jump up and holler for joy! This was the perfect way to end the evening. Divine deliciousness!

Wonderful food. We had a large group and they were very accommodating and the food and service was great. Don't forget to stop at the gift shop.
We used Jambo for catering a party for 10 people. The food was incredible and everyone was so impressed. I can't recommend jumbo enough. The staff is friendly and the food is made with quality ingredients. Thank you!!

Jambo had a great menu with Vegan and Gluten Free clearly marked. They were willing to work with me to make dishes vegan by substituting tofu for chicken, or gluten free when possible. Don’t be afraid to ask for these alternatives! Great service. We ate here twice over the span of a 5 day trip. Loved their housemade vegan ginger drink!
