This resto on the second floor of a little mall off the Plaza is a real find. This is not Americanized Chinese food, but the real deal. That also means really spicy, so beware if you can't handle the heat. My friend and I enjoyed fried gyoza (nothing spectacular, but very good), dan dan noodles (a bit mild but still good), and spicy wonton salad. This salad I'd never had before, but was the best part. For one, it has a spicy kick like a bucking bronco. Not for the weak-kneed. Wontons were huge, too. The restaurant is pretty basic tables and chairs. There is some seating in the atrium of the mall, too. Nothing fancy at all--they put all their effort into the food! Service was extremely friend, and even the chef came out to talk to my friend (who's Singaporean). It's a wonderful gem in downtown Santa Fe.
We ordered the steamed vegetable dumplings, we like their juicy and flavorful texture. Also we share a plate of hand made noodles, nice and rich flavor.
This restaurant is located at the end of an indoor "mini mall" near the plaza and near HaganDaz. Seating is in the mall area. Quite comfortable. Large food selection. We had dumplings, shu mai and hot and sour soup. Large portions. First rate. Lots of veggies, etc. in soup. Everything tasted fresh. Highly recommend.
Best food I’ve had in America. I had the curry rice bowl 10/10. Could tell they used quality ingredients whilst being very affordable

Dumpling Review: (August 2025, 5 stars)
This place has some of the best pork steamed buns I have had. Shumai and other options on the menu and some amazing looking soups too!
The dumpling sauce with Chile paste is superb!
Perfect place to go on a short lunch break or while stopping by in Santa Fe
Original boba review: (pre 2024, 4 stars)
Very good boba tea, especially for the price! I love the brown sugar boba the most but the dragon fruit and lychee poppers and fruit drinks are also very refreshing and sweet

As someone from Shandong China, the home of dumplings and buns, I can guarantee that this place is as authentic and as fresh as it can get! You can see the chef hand making the food inside the store. We highly recommend the beef soup noodles and pan fried pork buns, and you must dip it in their brown sauce (soy sauce + vinegar mix).
