We arrived at Joe’s Diner just after closing time, exhausted and hungry after rushing our elderly cat to the emergency vet. Ordered the brisket plate and it was excellent. Didn't even need a knife to cut the meat it was so tender. Served with a nice mix of vegetables and mash potatoes. Topped the meal off with a great slice of NY cheesecake. Highly recommend this place.
I love eating at Joe's. My one complaint is the noise level. WHAT A DIN! The music is WAY too loud! They will turn it down if you ask - but it's very much a Boomer crowd. They can't hear anyway and keeping the music so loud just encourages everyone to shout even louder than they already do. Same songs over and over again - Billy Joel, Bobby Darren, et al. What's wrong with classical Spanish guitar? Or NO MUSIC?? Love the food and the staff here, but relaxing...
