We had reservations for New Years Eve at 7pm and went inside and they told us we had to go outside to the basement. This was not our first time at this restaurant and we never had to eat in the basement before. We walked through a dirty alley towards the back and on entering the basement at 6:56pm, hostess Emma told us we needed to go outside and wait. I said it is cold out and we do not want to wait outside. In the meantime my Wife was sitting inside on a bench by the entry below the coat rack where people wait. Again Emma looks at me and says you need to go outside and wait. I said we are not going out in the cold and she said we were blocking where they were trying to seat people which was not true as we were on the bench where you are supposed to wait. She then a third time said you all need to wait outside. At this point we decided we were not going to take this from a rude a hostess and we simply left. It should have been enough after the first time when I said no, as we were not blocking anything, but she was rudely persistent. Boca management needs to know about how this person was rude to us. We then walked across the street to the Bull Ring restaurant and the hostess there was beyond nice and was able to fit us in and it was a great experience. FYI Emma proceeded to cancel our reservation on Open Table so we could not leave a review, so I am leaving a review here.
Pros: service is excellent: attentive, polite, informative without being intrusive Food: excellent! We had 4-5 dishes and we enjoyed all of them. Cocktails: imaginative and tasty Desert: unexpected and very tasty
I sat at the bar and observed Tif Jo create drinks that were works of art. This tapas spot has a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Try the raisin ice cream for dessert.

OMG...what a fantastic gastronomic experience. We had paella, and a cheese table as starter. Wonderful ambiance, superior service, excellent wine selection. If you are for Spanish food, this is your goto place in Santa Fe.

Santa Fe has some terrific places to eat. This is by far one of the best. Authentic tapas, excellent wine list and knowledgeable servers. It is a little loud but what Spanish Tapas place isn't ? If you need a break from South West style food (no offense) this is your spot in Santa Fe!
Service, food and experience all excellent! We all enjoyed every tapa we ate and will be back whenever we are back in Santa Fe.

We recommend the Terrase part which is separate from the main. In a Sunday evening there was very good guitarist/singer. Great tapas selection and good and generous sangria.

La Boca is our favorite restaurant so we try to get down here every year. The food is inventive and delicious. Even dishes we have had before like the Patatas Bravas get refined and become even better than the time before. There are always new delights on the menu and the staff is so kind. It's a special place for us.
