The staff were so kind but the food is very bland and just not good. They seem to be understaffed which I’m sure contributed to the slow service. They were very nice though.

We came on a Friday, it was one of the only places we could get a reservation. After being seated each interaction with the sever took several minutes. The server was friendly but they were clearly short staffed. The chips were nice and thick and crispy, but the salsa was very watery with no spice. The rest of the food was average.

Carne asada was well cooked with good flavor. The only problem with the food was it wasn't very hot when it came out. Service was excellent. It was pretty quiet on. Sunday night in the winter.

We went here two times on the same trip because the food was the best in the city. Johnni was awesome, he remembered our drink orders. The food was superior and the service was terrific! A locals favorite it seems!

I recently had the chance to dine at La Fogata Grill and, unfortunately, it was a letdown. The ambiance was the highlight of the evening - it was cozy and inviting. However, the food was a major disappointment. The dishes lacked flavor and the presentation was underwhelming. The biggest concern was the tripa, which was severely undercooked. Most entrées were bland and dry, and the salad was just okay - nothing to write home about.
The service, however, was friendly and attentive. Despite the staff's efforts, the overall quality of the meal didn't justify the price. I was expecting a lot more from La Fogata Grill, given the reviews and reputation. Sadly, I won't be returning. If you're looking for a good meal, I'd suggest exploring other options. 🍴

Stopped in for a quick beverage & the service was great! Highly recommend checking out this place with a great tequila selection. We had a Mexican margarita that was infused with jalapeños & gave us a demo on how they infuse the tequila. Go check ‘em out!

Stopped in here after seeing how loud and crowded Boxcar was. Immediately greeted and waited on by the friendliest staff. the food was incredibly fresh and affordable. Will definitely go back when in Santa Fe next.

Went in pretty early on a Tuesday evening and sat at the bar. All employees were very friendly and helpful and the few other customers were laid back enjoying themselves. Everything was very comfortable. Great help w my tequila choices and the food was incredible. I had the mole enchiladas. Subtle flavors, perfectly done. Somebody had a close relationship with their abuela. Prices very reasonable.

Great spot in Santa Fe! Everything we had was really good, from the fresh guac to mom's homemade mole. The music and dance show was pretty cool too. Everyone was having fun, which made it a cozy experience.
The food was excellent, especially the Aldo de mariscos and the delicious drinks prepared on site such as cucumber watermelon. Portions were very generous!
