The drinks and food were both amazing. The people are so friendly here. It’s worth the slightly detour to the underground

We stumbled on this place for dinner last night, on our first night in town after striking out at some other restaurants with long waits. Our experience was awesome! Drinks were delicious- well crafted cocktails with unique options (the hibiscus mezcalita was fantastic!) Food was great! We loaded up on tacos, and had some amazing flan for dessert. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Our server Julio was helpful and friendly, making our experience even better. We will definitely be back!

Everything was delicious and the staff was funny, on top of refills and recommendations! We had table side guacamole, delicious, street corn, tacos, rellenos and it was all amazing! I wish I would have taken more photos!!

Best chicken enchiladas. And the spicy margarita was so great. We were visiting and liked our first meal so much we came back a second time.

La Fogata Grill seems to be Santa Fe's secret spot!! Fresh Mexican food and cocktails make this place one of Santa Fe's must-see, must-eat places. On Tuesday nights the Mariachi band, singing waiters, and singing customers create a special ambiance. I had the ceviche and could not get enough: fresh watermelon juice and coconut rice. They use lots of fresh fruit and create beautiful cocktails.

The Food was good we didn't have to wait too long. Service was ok waited more than 8 minutes for extra tortillas and got charged extra $4 for 5 tortillas. Moment to pay the bill we pay with credit card and the restaurant charges technology fee 3% for the credit card transactions but server who is the restaurant manager never bother to let us know that am extra fee will be charge and on top of that the technology fee is included in the total of the force 20% service charge fee the restaurant charged the guest (less than 6 people). I don't mind paying 20% for service when the service is good but it really bother me when I asked the restaurant manager why he included the credit card fee in the total to calculate his tip and his answer was opening his wallet to give me $5. It is not the money it is the principal. Let's calculate restaurant having a $50k monthly sales will be a $1,500 in technology fee and 20% of tip of 300 to the server for something the customer shouldn't be paying for

We came to La Fogata Grill after a long drive from El Paso. We had some dietary restrictions (vegetarian). The staff was incredibly helpful and warm in helping us find options. They also suggested new combinations that really opened up even more choices. The food was outstanding. If you are looking for a warm, friendly place to have a delicious meal, it is hard to beat La Fogata Thank you La Fogata staff for giving us a sumptuous dinner when we reached Santa Fe. This will be a nice part of our Santa Fe memories.

Stopped by Sante Fe on an LA to Oklahoma City road trip, we wanted authentic southwest cuisine and found La Fogota Grill.Delivered everything we were looking for in a Sante Fe dining experience: Oaxacan Barbacoa, Chile en Nogada (a neat stuffed Poblano Pepper), and Mexican Street Corn.

Long wait for service when dining, staff could use some customer service training. Food was not anything special.
