We very much enjoyed sampling New Mexico cuisine and beer as we visited with college friends who live in the area.

Relaxing atmosphere to the sound of the indoor fountain. Southwest flavors without too much spice for those not use to lots of chiles. A favorite go to.

We've been coming here for years on our anniversaries especially. We just went for our 24yr anniversary and a waiter saw us and remembered us from a few years ago. Such great and kind staff.

Chef Zamora's new menu is amazing!! So fortunate to have him in Santa Fe. Edgar's (and bus person) service was spectacular. We were very well cared for. Thank you for a lovely evening

We had a wonderful waiter-I wish I could remember his name-but all the waiters seemed lovely. I had scallops, my husband had chicken cordon bleu and both were WONDERFUL!!

A delightful Easter dinner in this oh so beautiful setting made even more special by our attentive and friendly server Daniel. We'll be back next Easter as we've been doing for quite a few years now.

35mins wait time to be served. After 8hrs of drive it was frustrating to wait so long for our food that was so basic. We tried chicken enchilada and Guac with chips for $55. Very disappointed that it was bad experience and not great food for what you pay. However we enjoyed the ambience and live guac experience.

We did visit The shed and food is exceptionally good. Would not recommended this place.

Had Christmas Day dinner. The food was very good with equally good service. However, the atmosphere was not as special due to the lack of a violinist as in previous years. Live violin music makes this a very special and memorable experience.

We had dinner here but the experience was not entirely matching the price point - starting with a long wait to be seated (with reservation), we felt very rushed when we ordered etc. Our server was attentive - but also felt quite rushed.

The seating area was very crowded with minimal place for staffs to walk around - we got seated right by the fountain with 3-4 other tables surrounding it and were arranged as chairs bumping into chairs. You’d be careful so your personal belongings won’t fall into the fountain.

Food was okay - we had prime rib and steaks, they were mid range restaurant level. So don’t expect too much - I felt the place’s biggest selling point is location and a bit of service + vibe. Drink was bad so I sipped once and left it untouched - our server was acting as a higher end restaurant server should’ve and removed it from our check.

I probably came with too much expectation for a tourist hot spot restaurant - thinking about it’s mostly paying for markups for the location, I’d not feel too bad.

Front desk was friendly and attentive but reservation experience was very bad. We were here for dinner with reservation - however, we still waited 30 mins to be seated. I’m glad this restaurant is located in a fairly busy shopping area (ground level of the hotel) so we did not have to sit outside for the entire time. We later found out 3-4 other tables were also waiting way past their reservation time. Definitely needs more attention from the management team.

Parking: They share the parking garage with the hotel - a bit tight for parking in popular hours tho. They have a very interesting hand writing validation process. You could probably pay a bit tips and ask for valet instead (recommended if you come with a big car).

Kid-friendliness: We had a table right next to us with kids roaming around happily (they are cute and happy kids so I’m not feeling annoyed); so I’d say yes.

Wanted to like it! Atmosphere is beautiful. Waitress was responsive but overall seemed flustered and we could sense the kitchen wasn’t working as a team or was stressed or was “off”. Filet was not cooked as ordered, both were over cooked. Rest of food was lukewarm at best. Very overpriced for luke warm food. Cheese in relleno plate wasn’t even melted. Overall disappointing and over priced for what we got.

Kid-friendliness: Standard kid menu.

Good food! Service is typical of Santa Fe. Lovely surroundings in the former hotel courtyard. Pricey but it is a hotel restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a family hotel.

Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible.

The service they rave at having in no way compares to the reality of what they offer. They use the ruse of availability to attract you in only to inform you that the bar is all that's available and it serves...well, bar food, and that the restaurant that you actually came in to enjoy isn't available for another 90+ minutes on a Sunday evening. If I wanted bar food, I'd go to a bar. If I wanted chips and salsa, I'd go somewhere that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for them. If the restaurant (La Plazuela) that you really came in for isn't an option, than you shouldn't advertise as if it is only to pull a bait and switch and try to send someone to the bar with a significantly limited menu. Given the plethora of fine dining options within easy walking distance of this one, with MUCH better customer service, I HIGHLY encourage you to venture elsewhere.
