The food is usually good here. It's the service that's lacking. I suspect though that they are tired of dealing with entitled customers or hearing complaints about things out of their control. I don't hold it against the staff unless you can just tell that person hated the world. I will say it was super disappointing when they went to those awful waffle fries.
We were not familiar with the menu as it had been nearly a decade since we had even seen a Long John Silvers restaurant, much less eaten at one. The gentleman that took our order was very patient with us and took the time to help us order exactly what we wanted. Great customer service. Our food was ready very very fast. It was being handed to us before we got our cups filled at the soda fountain machine. Surprisingly, the food was still pretty good considering that it had been...
Had to hunt this place down. Unfortunately, like other businesses, LJS has suffered and quality has declined. Even their corn on the cob is now just corn in a bowl.
Food was okay, not great. Staff was semi-pleasant. Overall, not a great choice and I hate that. I used to enjoy LJS as an occasional option. Have to mark this one off the list now.
