We enjoyed this restaurant - colorful Mexican decorations, comfortable, food was very tasty, and the staff very nice.
I love this cozy place on a cold evening, it's like a shelter from a storm. And the food is great, and the staff awesome!!! Kind family owned and always delicious!!

Atmosphere and food was okay. Service was really slow. Pricing was funny on drinks. They charge the same as glass bottles for Coke Zero cans.

Food was meh, drinks where alright, service was slow and not accurate. Utensils where dirty and cups smelled like old rag. Food needed salt and more flavor. No salt and pepper when eating, they are running short on straws.
We love the food at Los Magueyes, especially the salsa and red chile! But the service has been poor every visit. It hasn’t been busy, yet the server stands behind the bar or register, looking at his phone, all the while our water and drink glasses sat empty for over 15 minutes. We were never asked how our meal was or if we wanted to order anything else, just brought the final ticket. This could be our favorite go to spot, but we hesitate because of the poor and unfriendly service.

I had the chili relleno with chicken lunch and I’ve never had a relleno cooked that well. It was divine! I’m from Colorado and never knew it could taste that good.
A great find. We wanted to try local cuisine and happened upon Magueyes on a side street. The menu is extensive; and the server recommendations did not disappoint. The tortilla chicken soup was amazing. The chile verde was excellent! Of course the house margarita was delicious. Really a great experience.

Magueyes is a hidden gem. We had the chicken tortilla soup -- delicious. We also had fajitas -- they were very good also. My only complaint is that we should have received at least 4 tortillas instead of 2. We also had the fried rice cream 🍨. I would totally recommend Magueyes!

The location and outside seating option are the best part of this place. The food is okay. Nothing spectacular. The service is also okay. Perhaps we went on a day when they were understaffed. 🤷
