The food at this place is simply delicious; I have no complaints. The service is excellent; the waitress is very skilled. The restaurant's atmosphere is fantastic, reminiscent of the Mexican Wild West. If you venture to this restaurant, you won't regret it; you'll leave completely satisfied.
We were coming to Santa Fe for a show and wanted to go somewhere different and local. After looking at reviews we chose Los Potrillos. We were not dissapointed. We we greeted and seated right away. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. They checked on us often. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, but the FOOD!! Oh my goodness, it was wonderful. Great service. The tortillas are homemade and fresh. We had the Mi General and the Pollo en Mole. Food was excellent. The red and green sauce is so flavorful and the green sauce has good heat. We will be returning.
