Sadly, this restaurant is closed forever. We loved going there back in the day when Dave and Renee ran it, kind of went a little downhill after they sold it in 2019. Now it is closed, apparently forever.

It has a very welcoming dog friendly patio. The waiter’s first order of business was to bring our pups a dish of water and she finished the meal by bringing them a treat. Our meals were delicious. I had the burger with blue cheese and fries. So good. I tried some of my partner’s Orzo Greek salad and it was also delicious. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area. Don’t forget to check out the framed dog photos inside.

Dishonest staff, cheated us on the bill. BLT tiny bits of bacon and tomato, and an unadvertised hot chile mayo.

First time at Loyal Hound. We shared the chicken and waffles and fish and chips. It was good. Overall enjoyed the meal and dessert.

This is a fun eclectic Santa Fe vibe restaurant that wears its dog friendly policy right on its sleeve. Even though we arrived towards the end of their service, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. My fish and chips were great and seemed all hand made. My wife enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Both came with their apple and green chile coleslaw which is great. There is a long beer and wine list which I was unable to sample on this visit but look forward to at another time.

The hubs and I visited for another time recently. Thought we would give it another go since the outdoor patio is open (The interior is just ok). There are several tabled with win screens available outside. It's right off a parking lot so nothing special about that. We shared a place of fish fry and I had a really nice glass of Sav Blanc and hubs had an IPA. The meal came quickly and was already split for two which we appreciated. The side of coleslaw was a nice accompaniment to the fried fish and had apples in it which was really good. The fries and fried fish were greasy and I took the coating off my fish. The fish was flavorful and well cooked. I probably won't come back for the fish, but we may try something else from the menu. Last time we had spinach salad and shared the fried olives and almonds, which were really good snacks. Service is always really fast and friendly.

Sorry, but the fish and chips were poor quality and the portions too small. We had been there before covid and it was marvelous on all counts. But the menu was smaller, The recipes had changed. The flavors were not nearly as satisfying and it seemed it had gone more vegan in preference. Very disappointing.

I've been here twice and enjoyed it both times. They really take pride in their food and you can tell when you taste it. The pulled pork is very good. Also the chicken shortcake is awesome (basically a chicken pot pie in a bowl). I recommend this place if you want good food and a relaxed environment.

We took our mom for her birthday. I had never been to Loyal Hound. We all loved our food. My mom’s chicken pot pie was great. I tried the Kale and Mushroom and loved the combination of vegetables. The lemonade was the best I’ve ever had. The wait staff gave my mom a special treat for dessert, banana crème pie, which was heaven. Check out Loyal Hound.

Atmosphere fine, very friendly and helpful staff, price perfectly reasonable, food fantastic. Wife and I would make this a regular stop if we didn't live in Austin, TX.

We were in search of the BEST FISH N CHIPS in Santa Fe. A little calling around to friends and we had a destination we didn't even know existed, but the Loyal Hound far exceeded our expectations. Big breaded deep fried chunks of white fish (cod, we suspect, but didn't ask) along with a generous heaping pile of house made fries & a copious side of Cole slaw to round out the dish, well worth the $18. But for $14, I also enjoyed the chicken and waffles, a dish once reserved for the south or in African American soul-themed kitchens, resplendent with maple syrup for the waffles & a tasty generous morsel of fried chicken. Our server was Krissy and she was above & beyond for our maiden voyage of chasing the Loyal Hound, a hunt which we'll no doubt repeat. The Loyal Hound Pub is also well known for its tasty beers, but as we did not imbibe, I can't comment on them. Dinner before tip which included a large (and bottomless) Arnold Palmer and a glass of house wine = $47, a bargain dinner for two in post COVID Santa Fe, $60 with tip because the service was just impeccable.

This was a bring home dinner. I got the fish and chips. It was burned . The chips ( fries) sat so long from being precooked maybe, and probably bulk serving for the evening or just really old oil. They were soggy, really oily and had no flavor. They were cold. I had 2 pieces of fish and one was burned , literally. My fiance paid close to 60 dollars for the total order and I would have rather eaten fast food from drive through. The only good thing was the fried olives and nuts.
