Luminaria Restaurant & Patio

Disappointed the outside patio wasn't opened yet but the inside is LOVELY and the wait staff is very friendly and very efficient!! On top of that the food is delicious!!! Can't top that!

My first time visit to Santa Fe did not disappoint; however, unfortunately, this restaurant did. We arrived to a very dead restaurant - only one other group of women were seated (4 of them). We were given one menu that listed only half of the selections, and it took a while to get a replacement menu. Shortly after we were seated, the other group that was there sent back two of their entrees - one for not being cooked all the way through and the other as they found it unappetizing. They were very nice with their words, but you could see their concern. We took this as a definite sign to leave. The setting is elegant...but we did not stick around to find out how the food and further experience would turn out.

Haven't been to Luminaria in a while. The lunch was fabulous. Food, service ... everything!

Food was uninspired. Trout was over cooked. Cocktails were poorly prepared although they remade them when asked. On the plus side. Servers were attentive

Didn't love the food. Ordered multiple apps, gave us 1 tortilla for 4 people to share Pozole. Pork chop was dry at a very high price point. Cornbread is very dry Just overall not great

Excellent cuisine and service. Everything is top-notch! Try one of their spicier dishes---the Huveos Rancheros, the breakfast burrito, or the Eggs Benedict. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very reasonably priced also.

The food was tasty and the portions were not too big, ideal for dinner. I thought the starter was too small to share. The service was average, nothing surprising. We arrived earlier than our reservation time and even though the restaurant was empty, we had to wait until our reservation time. They have a good, varied menu for children, without adding pepper or other seasonings that children don't like, and they include drinks and fruit. We left satisfied.

Awful service but not the waitress’ fault. This place is unorganized and chaotic. Worst of all, I ordered a virgin cocktail; yet, I received an alcoholic drink! This is unacceptable as I am currently sober. Second, we received our main course before our appetizers. Third, they were bringing out desserts that were not on the menu without even knowing which table they belong to. It was a preset menu but it took forever to get the sub par food. The salad looked like it came out of a bag and the meat needed salt. Happy New Year!

I used to love this restaurant, but service and quality has not been the same. We waited so long to be seated even though the restaurant was completely empty, had to flag someone down eventually. They were out of so many things on the menu we weren’t left with much to choose from at all. Service was mediocre. Excellent location in a beautiful hotel, but there are so many better places to get lunch on the plaza in Santa Fe.

We did room service from here. The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. The guy who delivered our food was very nice, but it took forever. The Loretto burger was excellent!

Such a lovely place. Best of the best strawberry jalapeño marg I've ever had. I would go just to sit in the beautiful outdoor area . Nice people wonderful service

Super slow service. Reservation at 7, orders not taken for 30 minutes, then took an hour and a half for us to be told they are out of certain items. Food finally came out and halibut was absolutely hammered and dry. All other entrees were cold when they showed up. Huge disappointment for the cost.
