Expensive but good. The lobster is outstanding and so is the sea bass. The service was amazing. I really enjoyed it but just keep in mind that it was $50 for an entree but you are paying for the best quality in the world. Check came in fun box.

Pricey but surely the best Italian food anywhere near New Mexico. Extraordinary food and excellent Italian wine list as well. A whole collection of Negronis and yummy craft cocktails also. Attentive, well trained service. Great place to celebrate a special event.

We had the Oso buco and the ravioli. We thought the Oso buco was a little chewy but good otherwise. The ravioli was very good and the addition of blueberries was an interesting twist. My favorite dessert is panna cotta and I was not disappointed. Interesting wine list and overall a pleasant experience. I will be back next time we're in town

We we're the second table in the dinning for a 6:00 reservation. It was just me and my partner for no specific reasons just out for a good dinner. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and on time with everything. We both had the Sea Bass special with a beet sauce. The beet sauce was fantastic the fried Sea Bass had zero flavor. A pinch more salt would have helped. My partner had the Veal Osso Buco. It looked beautifully plated and he said was tasty. I had the Duck special. The Duck was over cooked and the skin on the Duck breast normally is crispy but was not. So the skin was tough and had to be cut off the meat. It came with a Spaetzle and asparagus. The spaetzle was dry and flavorless. Don't get me wrong. The food was tasty but not a WOW on both of my dishes. I'm ok with not having a WOW meal but when it's a 100.00 a person I expect a wow...maybe not a WOW. So the two of us had 2 appetizers, 2 entrées one Crown and soda and one glass of wine. I had water. After tip of 20% the total was 274.00. I expected a WOW.

Excellent in every way! We always enjoy our evenings at Sassella. Everything is on point. As locals, we really appreciate the consistent, high quality experience they provide. Fantastic cuisine and cocktails. We clean our plates every time! But it all comes together with the great service! Thank you!!

We came unknowingly to the last night of restaurant week. My husband had the elk — so good and I did the restaurant week menu — chose the Caesar salad, tenderloin and banana cream pie. Let me put it to you this way: if I knew it was my very last night on earth that's the meal I would order. It was actually that good.

This is a lovely place with sophisticated decor and great service. The bar is really nice, and the cocktails are first class. There is an extensive wine list with excellent selections. The food however failed to live up to the expectations that one would have from such a great looking place with these kinds of price points. I'll return to the bar, but I can think of many other places nearby with better food.

We went as a recommendation via the Lensic before a Judith Hill show. We did not know what to expect. To our delight our experience with service and food was outstanding! Best Italian I have had in Santa Fe and in a long time in general. Highly recommend!

I love this restaurant. One of my favorites. The food is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. I like sitting on the patio/courtyard. I particularly enjoy the extensive list of available gin. I have recommended this restaurant to many.

Ate at Sassella because we got a gift certificate. Definitely was fine dining and the food was amazing! The chef was able to modify dishes due to a gluten allergy and came out to discuss it with me! We went at 530 and it was slow and quiet. When leaving they picked up traffic and the noise increased as well but still wonderful and service didn't sacrifice.
