Very tasty, pleasant, fun vibes, and really great staff. It’s mainly a seafood place so if that’s not your vibe maybe find someplace else :)

Real Mexican food! I was so pleased to find this restaurant while visiting Santa Fe! Ordered the molcajete (for one person) cold dish with ceviche, shrimp, octopus etc con salsa negra. Service was fast and friendly some of them speak English. Also had the flan for dessert.
A must-visit for anyone who appreciates real Mexican food with big flavor and plenty of delicious options.

Casual Mexican seafood restaurant. I had a Grande mixed seafood cocktail, too large for me to finish. As it hit my table it was generously chockful of seafood but pretty bland. After I added lots of salt, some lime juice salsa (I really liked this salsa!) and Huichol hot sauce it was much more flavorful. I also expected something more similar to ceviche but the shrimp and octopus were precooked. The oysters were a little old but OK; the scallops may have been precooked as well and seemed lacking in flavor. I didn't order anything else because half the seafood cocktail was plenty. Service was responsive and went smoothly.

Although I was disappointed with my seafood cocktail there are a lot of other fish and seafood dishes I'd like to try, so I'll definitely return.

The food was outstanding and the staff was exceptional! Highly recommend! Went to Mow Wolf on a Saturday afternoon and picked this restaurant based on location and positive reviews.

I had the Seafood Molcajete. It was good and the portion was adequate. However I should have asked for the flower tortillas instead.

Honest Reviews
We stopped in for a late lunch almost 3pm and the restaurant was empty.
There was 3 or 4 waitresses helping us wich made everything nice & obviously service fast.
They were very friendly and offered suggestions for appetizers, lunch & desert.
They give you chips & salsa for an appetizer that includes pico de gallo, a guacamole. Sauce & beans. And it all tasted good. The pico was better than the rest. The chips were good not too salty or burned.
We ordered shrimp cocktails to start. The cocktail sauce was really good. Unfortunately the shrimp hadn't been cleaned. That was a huge turn off.
We ordered the small & large and I believe the small is enough as an appetizer.
For lunch we ordered the discada norteña i believe.Just the plate for one wich was big enough for 2, after the appetizer and shrimp cocktails.
It's a plate that comes with beef, shrimp, cheese & bacon. It comes out over a little canister that keeps it warm during your meal, a good addition, It looked good and smelled good but it wasn't as good as It looked or smelled.
The corn tortillas were better than the flower tortillas and I usually prefer flower.
We had the flan as a desert as the waitresses insisted that we try it.
The flan was good and a good size portion.
The shrimp cocktails would have been good if it wasn't that they didn't clean them. The food wasn't the best. The desert flan was good.
The location is in a good location for santa fe and enough sitting for a lot of guest.
We were told the owners were cousins of the owners of Mariscos la playa in Albuquerque & santa fe.
You can tell by the decor & menu selections.
Lastly they tried to upcharge for using a credit card wich they don't notify you upfront or post anywhere which is illegal in New Mexico, if you're not notified in advance or offered in advance another payment option.
Be cautious of that. When I told the waitress it was illegal in New Mexico they said they told the owner knew but he didn't care.

I ordered La Perrona, which is their version of a hamburger. It was very tasty and came with bits of bacon and carne asada and guacamole. It was like homemade!
