I gave this restaurant the lowest possible score because, despite having a reservation, the restaurant was closed when supposed to be open.

One of my favorite places to have lunch, Midtown was disappointing on my recent visit. The grilled chicken sandwich was served on a brioche bun that was very dry & disintegrated after the first bite, defeating the idea of a “sandwich”. When I pointed it out to the waitperson, he agreed & suggested that “next time, you should order it on sourdough”. Not particularly helpful for my current experience. They also had “not received” their liquor license as expected, so no drinks/wine were available.

Great restaurant. Food and service always excellent. Nice location with plenty of parking away from the bustle of downtown/plaza

We had a delicious, intimate meal at Midtown Bistro. The baby arugula salad with goat cheese and grilled peaches was amazing, and my wife said the branzino was probably the best she's ever had. Service was fantastic. Midtown Bistro is a must try.

This was a unique experience to be sure. We arrived at our scheduled time for Sunday brunch. The door was open, but there were no lights on in the restaurant and no one was visible. After waiting a brief time, I explored the restaurant, including going into the kitchen and there was not a person to be found so we left. We could have walked out with everything in the restaurant. Afterwards, I sent a message to the restaurant but received no response.

Overall, it was a good lunch experience. Parking for the restaurant can be very challenging during adjacent business hours. Better signage and parking information would be helpful.

Crab cakes ( I know) not a good choice. Butternut squash soup average. Key lime pie average. Hubs got pasta special and v pleased. Friend got v good branzino Peach salads said to be exceptional. Choc cake and carrot cakes were best in class. I just ordered wrong. Two people $200 w tip and only bubble water.

Nice lunch time stop. They offer a variety of soup and sandwich combos and appetizers. Staff were friendly and server was attentive. We sat alfresco and had a lovely lunch in their patio. A little pricey but recommend. Parking can be tricky during lunch hours, but probably not an issue with surrounding businesses closed.

This was a lovely lunch with friends. The restaurant was not noisy so we could easily talk and visit. The food was delicious. We ate inside but had the option to eat outside. Food was served in a timely manner.

As most know, consistency is the cornerstone of any fine dining establishment. The Catanach family has made a name for themselves in the local community. They have created an elevated experience for locals and visitors to Santa Fe. Genuine hospitality is no longer a given in the restaurant industry. Thank you for holding true to your Santa Fe values and for always making every visit memorable. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and my out of state visitors commented that Midtown Bistro will be “at the top of their return visit list”. With love and appreciation ~ Olga 💜
