I had an issue with the staff and GM being very unprofessional in how they handled a speed dating event on 2/13/26. After the event there was no follow up contact two days after the event. When I followed up directly, I got excuses of the winery employee that hosted the event being too busy. When I went in to the winery after further no contact, the GM Sami refused to speak with me because she was too busy drinking on the clock with her friend at the front. The staff and management are extremely unprofessional here. The cider was pretty good which is the only reason that I gave a two star. Details below if you want to know more.
I attended a speed dating event on Friday 2/13/26. Several of the in house staff including the GM Sami sat in on the event for the dating event which is certainly odd. At the end of the event, the event organizer Josh told everyone including myself that we were welcome to stay or he would text out the matches to all of the attendees that same evening. After two days had passed, I contacted Sami and Josh by phone on Sunday afternoon to ask where the follow up contacts were. Josh apologized and said that he was too busy to keep his promise of sending out the two match contacts on time. Josh went on to tell me that he was going to call each mutual match to “make sure” they still wanted to share their contact information. I pointed out that mutual matches are that very consent he was talking about. When I still didn’t received the promised correspondence from Josh, I showed up at Noisy Water Winery in person to make sure that my interested contacts didn’t get any more cold than they already were from his negligent inaction. When I arrived, one of the bar staff pointed me to Sami the general manager who I met during the event. She was by the front window drinking wine with a friend. I apologized for interrupting and asked if she would speak with me about how Josh was handling the speed dating event follow-up. She declined to speak with me and told me that she was busy enjoying her “friend time” while drinking wine on the clock. Sami also told me that she thought Josh was somewhere out front. It turned out that Josh was sitting in the back of the customer seating area. After they conferred in private, Josh approached me at the bar and again told me that he was busy. I can’t say that he looked busy sitting in the back of the customer seating area when I arrived. I learned during our conversation that Josh did not call each event participant that matched with each other to double qualify their choices to match. I pointed out that no other speed dating service has the host call each participant to make sure that they still want to match after they match. Let alone hand pick certain participants to give that treatment. He offered to make immediate calls and did so. I overheard him a dating match that I was there and was “adamant” about getting their contact. It was about this time that Sami came up and asked me to leave because I was “making everyone uncomfortable” which I did immediately. Maybe do the customer service portion of your job while on the clock instead of blowing me off to drink with your friend next time Sami. Surprisingly Josh texted me one of the two match phone numbers from Friday shortly after managing to not screw that up too.

Had an awesome experience here doing a wine flight; every pour was excellent and thoughtfully selected. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, but the real highlight was Mario. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the tasting feel fun and engaging without being pretentious. You can tell he genuinely cares about the wine and the people enjoying it. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Mario if you can.

This is a very nice place to hang out watch some art and taste New Mexico local wines. Reasonable prices, good for crowds or personal experience. The y have cheese and snacks and wine guides to help you find your liking. If you come to old town this is the best place to relax and enjoy wine tasting. Cool music and atmosphere helps you rewind a long day specially if you find Robert here.

Today was such a treat, especially with the holiday season just around the corner! The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. I was assisted by so many wonderful wine tenders. I hope I get to meet them all on my next visit, but Alex, Kory, Mario and Sydney were super busy, but they still made time to assist and provide great customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’m not just signing up for the membership but I’m bringing my friends and family!
