The food was excellent but the service was below average. We got there right ahead of a large rush so the staff was swamped. It went from 5 full tables to the entire restaurant being full in a few minutes. The food was good enough to try this place again outside of the rush hours.

I had suiza enchilada’s. It was the dally special. Served with Spanish rice and refried beans. Very good. They also had Mexican Coke, cane sugar. Our friends had sandwiches. She commented the best fries she’s had in a long time.

Really good menu choices, service was a bit slow but quite friendly. We shared the chicken salad with balsamic dressing, which had nice grilled meat. My partner had the fish tacos, which were excellent, and I'm not sure I've had better steak tacos.

My family attempted to get into the Shed, as everything in the world told us to. Unfortunately the hour wait wouldn’t work for us. So we walk uphill to Palacio’s, and we couldn’t have been happier we did. Jonathon our server was super helpful, and patient with our requests, and worked miracles in the kitchen.
Then the food arrived. I live in Phoenix, and have had really good Mexican food. This place puts them all to shame. The food was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and generous in portions. We’re in town for the next week and I plan on going back as many times as possible. Oh and if asked get the chips and salsa!

We went here based on the reviews and it’s not far from where we are staying. We started off with chips, salsa, and guacamole. Let me tell you the salsa was freaking HOT (that’s where the beware part comes in) Now, it may not be hot by New Mexico standards, but by Oklahoma standards it was HOT. We were greeted and seated promptly, busy but not overly so. We were waited on by the owner very talkative and great. I had the enchilada plate with Red sauce on one and Green on the other. “Christmas” if you will. My wife had the tamale plate, she told me it was the best tamales she had ever had. The red and green sauce had some kick to it, if you are worried about it, get it on the side like my wife did. It was all fantastic. I cleaned my plate, my wife said “you never do that back home “ I told her this was the best meal I’d had in awhile and it wasn’t because we had driven 9.5 hours to Santa Fe. We will for sure come back the next time we are in Santa Fe. It’s not on the plaza, but not too far. Well worth the walk or drive no matter how you get here just get here!!!

Not sure where to begin … Food, service, decor and central downtown location are terrific! We enjoyed the special enchilada dinner with tomatillo sauce, chicken and avocado, cheese enchiladas and house salad. Our server Jonathan was knowledgeable and friendly - a true professional. The decor was lively and fun. Hats off to the talented chef who took a moment to stop by our table. For sure we will return the next time we’re in Santa Fe for another relaxing and very tasty dinner!

Fantastic dinner and desert options. All the staff was very kind and the service was fast. I had the meat and bean burrito with green chile. The chile was good but mild. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The tables and chairs are beautiful and comfortable. The decoration are also beautiful and fun too look at.
