Palacio Restaurant in Santa Fe is an absolute gem! The food was excellent and full of flavor, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality. What really stood out was the service. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our visit. I ordered a drink I didn’t quite enjoy at first, but Jose from Mexico went above and beyond to customize it into something amazing. That kind of effort and care makes all the difference. With delicious food, great value, and outstanding service, Palacio Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back for sure!

A 100% tourist trap and the single worst dining experience I’ve had in Santa Fe in 5 years of dining in the city. I ordered an avocado toast, which is an off menu item. A year ago I ordered it and it was not an issue. Back then I received two small slices of bread with an avocado on them (half an avocado each) plus toppings (tomato, onion, etc). This year I received a single slice of bread and half an avocado and it was $13. On top of that the avocado wasn’t even placed on the bread and there was no salt, toppings, etc. There was nothing but a single small slice of toasted bread and half of an avocado on the side of the plate. I had to build the avocado toast myself. I expressed my discontent about it to one woman that worked there (possibly the owner) and she just nodded and walked away. I expressed my disappointment to the waitress and she said she was sorry and then ran off to attend other tables. This was by far the worse dining experience I have had in Santa Fe in 5 years of eating in the city. If you are a desperate tourist that wants to eat average New Mexican food at tourist prices, this is your place. Otherwise, there are many far better options nearby that have a better value. Avoid this place like the miserable tourist trap it is.

Sat outside. Waited 10 minutes. Had to flag down someone to wait on us. No apology. Waited another 10 minutes for a draft beer. Did not pay attention to our table. Told him that his service was poor. Did not apologise. Asked to talk to the manager. Manager never came. As a local this was my first time to visit this restaurant and the last. Santa Fe locals, stay away. Not worth it. Leave it for the tourists

Dinner here was sublime. Delicious pasole, enchiladas and tamales. The red sauce is the best ever! Do yourself a favor and eat here when you are in Santa Fe!

The NEW MEXICO food {breakfast, lunch, dinner} at this place is A+++++. Yes, I am a native New Mexican - I very much know about New Mexico food. The owners are very much involved. Your server may in fact be an owner. John Funk / Roswell, NM / john

Overall just didn't love what we had. I had the quesadilla with ground beef and it just kind of tasted like a big plate of chilli. My husband had the burrito with pork but was mostly pinto beans, no cheese and just kind of blah. Service was wonderful though

Lovely family owned restaurant. Chef and owner checked on us several times. Food was delicious and authentic! Cute outdoor court in the back.

We were in Santa Fe for the day exploring and stopped to have lunch here and it was really good. Service was great, everything came out just like it should, and it was very reasonable prices. Particularly compared with two blocks away in the downtown area.

I'm giving 1 star to the person who served us. You charged me 50 USD, when with the tip I chose, it was 42 USD.

Tasty and satisfying food. We had the enchiladas with green sauce- chicken and vegetarian. Salsa was also delicious.Service was friendly and fast.
