The last time I ordered food they gave me pure old Menudo food, all overcooked and very dry and salty red chili. I will never buy food from that place again.

It was recommended to us by friends that they had the best red pork tamales, so we purchased some red pork and sweet tamales - they were some of the best we've eaten! They also have a huge selection of pan dulce (sweet bread), pastries, homemade bread and tortillas!Parking: The parking could have been difficult because it's the holidays and almost everyone is out shopping.Kid-friendliness: Saw a few kids there and alot of young at heart folks shopping there.

This place has been in this area for several years and one of our to go Mexican sweet bread but not I differ to say it's probably the last option if I'm farther away from my destination. Thai last time I had this man cut in line and since he was family and apparently an "uncle" to the cashier she let him cut in line despite the rest of us customers waiting out turn. Also the bag are very thin and God forbid you drop them into your car seats and rip open like mine did. I had three perfect breads gone into the floor because of the cheaply made the bags are .. They should put the bread in a paper bag and also inside a plastic bag for more support. They don't do that but love to stuff them bags not knowing how cheap they are. Overall the place was clean and tidy. They also have tamales home made and made and other traditional Hispanic hot plates. I would say the taste and softness of the bread is a 6/10. They is always room for improvement:

Get your pan dulce fix here. I really enjoyed the Conchas and orejas. Menudo available on the weekends. This place has Great prices especially since it seems like everything is expensive in Santa Fe. Try their tacos & burritos as well. Cash only. Private parking lot available.

I can't believe I've never seen or heard of this place! I was looking for menudo and came across them on Google. Ended up trying the menudo and a lengua burrito! Delicious & the prices? So affordable! Can't wait to come back and try some tacos and sweets!
