I’m new in town and finally built up the courage to come inside. I got some pan dulce and it was just how I remembered it from my childhood. I wanted some tamales but I special ordered them for the next day and they were so delicious, very flavorful. I’m very hesitant with the Mexican restaurants in town because they have that new Mexican flare to it (which I don’t prefer) But not these tamales. I will def be back for more food in the future!!

Also staff was very friendly ☺️

10/10 recommend, please support small businesses.

My new go-to stop for tamales. Owner is super friendly. Bavarian creme empanadas were fresh & tasty. And the prices are fair. Don't let the modest storefront dissuade you from visiting.

Highly recommend! Best panaderia in Santa Fe. I order 4 dozen pan de muerto for an event, plus 2 medium size which are HUGE. They were still warm when I picked them up. We were given 2 for the road to try, and not only are they beautiful, but so delicious.

My mother used to take me here since I was 3 years old, I was greeted immediately and bought some pan to take home to Rio Rancho. Still amazing 24 years later. Don’t know what the earlier reviews were complaining about I’m glad this place is still around.

We don’t have any panaderias in our area, so we were excited to stop in for some pan dulce. We got home and every piece we’ve tried so far is old, stale, crumbly and doesn’t taste good. I’m so disappointed! While there I also got some gorditas for the road, but the meat was also dry! We won’t be returning here unfortunately.

Every time I try something new in Santa Fe, I get disappointed. This place fooled me because when you Google it, it shows almost 5 stars but the 5 star reviews were from a few years ago.I went today and was throughly disappointed!! All the pastries and bolillo were stale, dry, hard and disgusting! Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere. Aren't these bakeries monitored in any way? Why are they selling old product? This is definitely NOT a way to run ANY business! I can't even get my money back, so I'll try and get some satisfaction writing this review, hoping someone will be saved from going to this place.

The bread is old and hard as a rock I took it back I told her she could keep the money just wanted to show her what she sold me.

I wish I had read the previous reviews which ACTUALLY explained their rating. The 5 star reviews say NOTHING. My daughter spent $22 on old, stale and inedible pastries and tortillas. The cherry empanada had some unidentifiable yellow goo in the middle. EVERYTHING was bad and inedible. One of the front windows was broken out and had cardboard covering it.

We just paid $16 for some bread and it was all hard as a rock.
