Omg! Stayed at the Inn 30 years ago, and ate here then. Was happy to see it was still here! Got a local beer (Nut Brown… yum!), and ordered a cup of Albondigas soup as an appetizer, and the fish tacos for dinner. They were salmon, which surprised me, but they were delicious! I made yum-yum noises the whole time I ate them, and forgot to take a picture. Haha! But I would definitely get them again! The place was practically empty (time of day/year?), but we got amazing service! I took off one star for “Atmosphere” because of the annoying country music. Coming from Texas, I was hoping for anything BUT country. Oh well! They close between lunch and dinner, and close fairly early each night. So get there early! They are also closed on Sunday. Super convenient if you stay at the Pecos Trail Inn.

What a surprise!
We had great food and incredible service with this on site restaurant next to our hotel. Arriving 10 min before closing, they were very pleasant and prepared our food quickly and with care. It was decorated very nice with a comfortable atmosphere! They even had a mariachi band. We had to order to go due to traveling with our 2 large dogs, but the time spent inside was very good.
This has been some of the best New Mexican food we have had in a while, and we eat a lot of it!! Everything was done perfect and the taste was great!
Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Went with a large group. For some reason the Pecos Trail Cafe refuses to allow seperate checks.

For handicap patrons parking spots are inconvenient.

The food is tasty.

Great place to dine. The green chile stew was so good we went back to have more. Very friendly service. Lots of free parking. A gem we found searching Google maps.

My husband and I found this place by accident and since it was lunchtime, we decided to grab a quick bite to eat and split the Populares. It was very good.

Pecos Trail Restaurant is such a great spot! The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome right away. The food is delicious and served fresh every time. I really appreciate the spacious and casual atmosphere—it’s comfortable without feeling crowded. Everything is very clean, and there’s plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

Absolutely Delicious food! Not only was the food fantastic but the service was great too! We’re only in town for a couple of days, but we’re hoping to stop here again before we leave.

Great food with a local family vibe atmosphere. Evening has beautiful sunsets. Quick service and will be back. Burrito was just right with spice.

Pecos Trail Cafe is adjacent to the Pecos Trail Inn. It is a comfortable step back in true 60s-70s motif without being nostalgic. Good Service and mix of New Mex, Mex, and American choices. (Primarily New Mex) All were flavorful in our selections

This is one of my favorite local restaurants in Santa Fe! The food and drinks are always good and the soaps are the best in town! The owner is always there to say hello and helps us celebrate birthdays with fun drinks.
