You don’t have to go to Italy to experience real Italian fine cuisine.

Nice restaurant, but still needs a little work. Service was very friendly, but everything was very slow, including simply getting ice water upon seating to wash down the fun/salty grissini sticks. Food was just ok. Caesar salad must have been sitting in the hot kitchen because the lettuce was warm and wilted; yuck. Funghi pizza was crispy and burnt on the edges but had only four or five mushrooms. Granted, I wasn't expecting a supreme pizza, and the menu even states that the pizzas are sparsely prepared, but I did expect more than five sad black mushrooms for $17. Atmosphere is elegant and warm. Overall, if they are crowded, don't expect prompt service. This restaurant needs more time to mature and get the service and food up to snuff. [Update 8/2025: Very friendly service but still quite slow. I think they are trying to strike a balance between staffing and customer levels, and they haven't found the right footing yet. Also, some entree portions are quite small for the higher prices ($24 for a 4-inch by 4-inch piece of vegetable lasagna served on a small round baking dish was disappointing...it looked like a side dish!) Atmosphere is still elegant and pleasing.]

Second time dining here and can’t wait to come back! The quality is so fresh and authentic, and it is truly amazing food especially for the price. This is upscale Italian in a cozy and relaxed setting - so much better than many fine dining restaurants on the plaza and without the stuffiness and high price tag. I came here for my birthday with my infant son, and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to trying the happy hour soon!

We started with the Green Salad with Shallot Vinaigrette. 10/10. For dinner we had Caprese Salad made with heirloom tomatoes, fresh focaccia bread, and Spaghetti Al Pomodoro. Absolutely delicious homemade pasta with so much flavor. We enjoyed Sorbetto for dessert. Also, I have to mention the crunchy salty breadsticks. So tasty, with flaked salt.
