I ordered two items from the food truck. My husband‘s food was passed to me in a black bag. The Styrofoam trade was instantly thrown to the side and everything Mixed in together and became a bag of soup before I can even ask for my second order. I ordered brisket and potato salad. When I took my plate, I made sure to keep it held upright as they pass it to me so it wouldn’t get mixed up like my husband’s order. My order was completely incorrect. I got a pulled pork sandwich on an extremely dry bun. I wasn’t even able to eat it because the bread fell apart as soon as I took the first bite, so I discarded the bun and kept my meat and I had three bites, the quality of the other items, such as the potato salad, and beans Were terrible. The potato salad is essentially potato and mustard soup. It’s extremely sour and bitter. The meat is dry cost me $30 so it could be worse but I just don’t think anybody else should ever waste their money on these guys. My husband said his food was so disgusting. He can see he’s going to be sick

Visited this food truck during an event that they were at and the food was terrible. Macaroni and cheese didn't have any cheese and was just cold macaroni with black pepper. Brisket was tough and both the brisket and pulled pork was soggy and sitting in water like it had been boiled or kept way too long in a hot tray with water. The beans and BBQ sauce was decent. I ended throwing most moist t away.

Chocolate is wonderful. The Staff was not. Experience was disappointing and frustrating. We come to Santa Fe often and will hope next visit is friendlier and less condescending.
A cool little dessert place near Canyon Road in Santa Fe. We shared the Chocolate Flight which was unusual and really great - plus their ice cream was amazing. Nice staff, cute place, do not miss!
Heard great things and question the people who recommended. The hot chocolate was pretty good but not for the price. The chocolates that we picked were all a disappointment. Taste was like bakers chocolate. Not worth the money!
Is this place even open??? Went there at about 1215 and didn't even see a restaurant. Currently (Nov 2023) Santa Fe's terminal is being remodeled and there's no restaurant.

Yum! This is a chocolate lover’s heaven! There are chocolate drinks, ice creams, and candies. You can also get gifts. The staff is friendly. Great stop.
Great experience. Service was very kind and quick. Chocolate flight was spectacular. Mint chocolate ice cream was smooth and home made.
This is a lovely little shop and coffee house near Canyon Rd and well worth a stop. You can enjoy all sorts of craft chocolate candies, baked goods and drinks and take some for the road with you. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to help.

So many choices! I had a sample taste of an elixir which was rich and chocolatey. Ended up picking out some chocolates and they were wrapped really nicely, could be a gift but we were going to enjoy them! Service was helpful and friendly. Kind of pricey however the quality is worth it.
Oh, do go there for the Chile Chocolate! Hotter than some I have tased elsewhere, but divine. Many chocolate options: hot chocolate, ice cream, truffles, stuff to take home… So many choices, and all of them real chocolate, not waxy or thin. Also some cool berry drinks if you have an apostate in the group.
Their location is about a half mile from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, an easy walk. This was our second time to Kakawa. Inside feels like a cozy cottage with about six tables. In addition to the chocolate drink we ordered a brownie. The drinks were amazing. And the brownie with chile was moist and full flavored. The next time we are in Santa Fe we would not miss going again.
Stopped in for a afternoon pick me up. The chocolate elixir's were interesting and different to try. The truffles were more of a dark chocolate than milk and just okay. They did offer a single drip coffee though! It seems more like a tourist place to go and try and not frequent often.
Impossible to choose what to get here! Chocolate truffles and caramels infused with a myriad of flavors, like mezcal, green chile, red chile, and more. We tried their dried chilis dipped in dark chocolate, the mezcal dark chocolate truffle, the margarita chocolate truffle, the red chile caramel, the green chile caramel, and the bourbon pecan caramel. All of them were tasty - favorites were the red chile caramel, the mezcal truffle, and the dipped chilis. Lots of flavor and high quality chocolate. Have to go back for more!
