Ras Rody's Jamaican Vegan

I love vegan Jamaican food, and Ras Rody is a great cook. Nice change up in flavors after a few meals in Santa Fe! Definitely ask for his special spice, it's more flavorful than actually spicy. Winter hours might not be true, we arrived the first night after dark but he had gotten cold and gone home! He said just to call him next time, he lives right around the corner (might do for a bigger group, but it was just 2 of us so we just came back before dark the next night!)

Combo plate was insanely good the BEST NM vegan. Sweet Potato pudding a contender for the best dessert ever tried.

The BEST food I have had in a very long time. I got the combination platter - the food is very delicious, incredibly flavorful, and so nourishing. It has the perfect balance of flavors, spiciness, and sweetness. It’s so hard to find this kind of delicious home-cooked food nowadays. I wish I lived in Santa Fe because I would eat here multiple times a week!!! Best of all, Ras is friendly, kind, and puts a lot of love into his food. He’s got great vibes and is just an awesome guy. Thank you so much and I will definitely be back the next time I am in Santa Fe!

Unbelievably good food for our health conscious family. Everything was delicious and the jerk was fire! The owner is an amazing human being, full of positive energy and kindness. Incredible vibes. This was the perfect food to brighten a rainy day. Highly, highly recommended. One of the highlights of our trip to New Mexico. So good, we bought the cookbook.

Really tasty Jamaican food, nicely seasoned. Everything is made from scratch and it's all vegan. Sweet potato pudding is delicious, more like a chewy brownie. Yum. It's a food truck, so you get it to go.
